I had an idea for a fun thing. Sorry in advance if this gets long, I'm on mobile so no spoiler.

Anyone can join, rules are pretty standard, no bullying or profanity, etc.

Everyone starts as a tier 0 blob. You have 2 actions per turn, plus standard bonus actions and reactions. Your goal is to become a tier 3 creature and explore the caverns. You get adaptations when you level up.

Tiers: t0 blob, t1 blob, t2 blob, t3 blob, t0 creature, t1 creature, t2 creature, and t3 creature.

Standard Adaptations: legs: t1, t2, t3 claws: t1, t2 tail: t1, t2, t3 teeth: t1, t2, t3 armor: t1, t2, t3 fur: t1, t2 eyes: t1, t2, t3 ears: t1, t2 nose: t1, t2

Special Adaptations: jumping legs, stinger, venom, heat detection, burrowing, wings: t1, t2, t3, fins: t1, t2, feathers, whiskers (might add more later).

Drawbacks: Gills, blindness, cold blood, heat sensitivity, and others that are specific to certain special adaptations.

How leveling up works: I will award xp as you explore and defeat other blobs/creatures that you might find. Each level grants adaptations in the following combinations: 3 or 4 t1 adaptations, 2 t2 adaptations (if you have the t1 version already), 1 t2 and 1 t1, 1 t3 (if you have the t2 of it), or a special adaptation and a drawback. You can choose to take less if you want.

New adaptations:

Normal: arms: t1, t2 bones: t1, t2 size: t2, t3 (everyone has t1 size)

Special: squishy, parasitic (may remove), frog tongue, sticky, antennae, spikey

Drawbacks: lungs, spiracles, host dependency (parasitic only)
