Normiah sees the chest from the deck and goes down. "What's this thing right here?"
Now that Normiah is closer, it seems the chest is made of gold.
"I'm rich!" He picks up the chest, (do I need to make a strength check?) "Wonder what's inside..."
You don’t need to make a strength check. In fact, the chest is considerably lighter than you would expect it to be. But it is very clearly made of real gold.
