"No," He coughs and a fish falls out of his throat pouch. His voice remains the same, "Only a fish." He chortles to himself before continuing, "I jest. I am a Pelican and proud to be one. My voice is harsh because of the salt water I swallow. Are you lost at sea, child? If so, you'd fit right in!"
She giggles again and tilts her head "I don't think so. I am Luci! A pleasure to meet you." She curtsies.
"The pleasure is all mine, Luci." He mimics your curtsy with a sort of awkward bow, waddling into a kneeling position, dipping his beak deeply, and extending his wings. "You may call me Pelican, for that is what I am."
She giggles again and picks up the dead fish the pelican coughed up. She pulls out a small knife and cuts it up. "You got to make sure you chew your food. I don't want you to choke."

*Fun fact: this tavern is actually set in the future of the Gut*
The Head Chef from the Gut, looking less... intense than before, is preparing some strange sea life at what appears to be a mobile cooking station about the size of two people.
Luci finds her way over, clicking her tongue as she goes. "May I help sir?" She turns her head as best she can to the cook's 'face', beaming.
He looks down, his ice-blue eyes focusing on her. "Ah, Miss Lucibelle. Your help would be much appreciated. Would you wash some greens for me, please?" He places a box of vegetables by the sink and slides a footstool over so she can reach it.
She nods and finds her way over quickly, stepping up the footstool and finding her way to the sink with her hands. She sets her stuffed animal aside on the ground. She turns on the water, finding the difference between hot and cold, selecting cold, and washing the green carefully. "How'd you know my name, mister?" She asked.

A girl with short brown hair sits on the edge of the ship. She holds a stuffed rabbit made from the real skin and fur of the creature. She wears a sunny yellow 1940's dress and long white stockings complete with black strap shoes. She is waving to sea birds while humming to herself. Her eyes are pure white as if she is blind.
*Hi guys, yes, I am joining this. Baalz asked me a while back too, but I didn't have a good character then but I can just repurpose Lucibelle.*
One of the seabirds waves back. A large Pelican flaps over and speaks in a harsh sounding yet friendly voice, "What are you doing out at sea, child?"
She giggles "I don't know. What are you? You sound like you got a frog in your throat"

A black eyed fire genasi looks up from his řïtųāľ “Luci! We really are having a big family reunion here! Ignore me, just wanted to say hi.”
Luci tilts her head towards the noise and blinks "Family Reunion?"
“First Sergei showed up, then the chef, now you’re here. Seems like everyone who was on the Gut is showing up here now.”
