"Thank you very much, Bun. You've done an excellent job, but I would like to suggest that you do not stab the table. Wood is very dulling to metal, and these knives of mine are very expensive. I already sharpen them more than I probably should." He places a fish before Bun, along with a clean boning knife and cutting board moves to saute the onions. "Would you please fillet that fish for me? Given your displayed speed and precision, I assume you need no instruction on how to do so."
He turns to Luci. "You weren't exaggerating when you said he was good."
She beams "I'm glad! What are you making by the way?" She asked. When he turns back around the fish is deboned and filleted. Bun has placed the knife back on the board rather than stabbing it into the wood again.
"I'm making several things. Mostly different fish, of course, but I'm doing my best to keep the meal balanced. The Pelican has brought me fresh sea life, some of which I haven't seen before, and I want to see what I can make with them." He looks over Bun's work. "Incredible knife skills. With the proper training, I think you two could run the kitchen without me."
