Suire smacks the mug away. "not what i meant and i think that you have had enough" Suire grabs Alistair's mug and pours it out
He frowns. “Way to spoil the fun.”
"you wont be having too much fun tomorrow at the rate that you are drinking"
*Uhm actually root beer is a non alcoholic beverage 🤓
It's the whole reasons why Normiah drinks it instead of actual alcohol, so he can keep his mind sharp (I know he literally just got drunk but someone swapped the drink so it's not his fault*

Hello! I am a perfectly sane gibberer. Hi! :D
Locations are dead, the Temple of Potassium has fallen but its ideals live on
As the ship sails into open water, all is well. For about 30 minutes.
the sun is starting to set, and the moon and stars are already partially visible in the sky.
then the ship sails into a disgusting green cloud of smog. It seems to suddenly appear out of nowhere, rising from the depths of the ocean and obscuring the sky with a yellowish green hue. And it smells awful, worse than almost anything that anyone’s ever experienced.
suddenly a jet of water shoots out from the bottom of the sea, splashing onto the deck of the ship. What is left behind is a perfectly dry piece of folded up parchment sealed with wax.
Suire opens the parchment
It says,
”The King of the Ocean’s bounty demands your tribute. You have intruded upon his Royal Highness’ domain and you must pay His Majesty with all valuable items on this vessel. Drop them into the water and it shall be collected. Do not risk the wrath of the Great King beneath the sea. You have one day.”
Jack is muttering to himself about the inconvenience, and something about "the REAL king of the sea". His holy symbol, an amulet of a blue wave just reaching it's crest, is glowing lightly.

“The “King of the Ocean” clearly doesn’t know pirates very well. In exactly 23 hours and 58 minutes give all your treasures to people who can fly, like me and Suire. We’ll get off the ship, and therefore it will not have any valuable items on it. Checkmate, God.” Persuasion in case people don’t want to give pirates their valuables 28

I have several complete Pokedexes | I may be stupid, but at least I’m not smart!
Stay Paranoid!! My Drummer given title is… Swift as the Dragon
Along with the yellowish green smog, trash has started to collect in the water surrounding the ship. Like, mountains of trash. And I mean like hundreds of islands of trash thick enough for someone to stand on, above and below water. Everything from ancient weapons, priceless paintings ruined by the waves long ago, and shards of glass and discarded clothes. The water is also quickly changing to a sickly brown muck around the ship.

"What is this?" Jonah covers his nose with his hand in a desperate attempt to ward of the vile odor. His other hand grips the gunwale as he surveys the garbage, "Islands of scum and debris! Should we send a band down to see what's there?"
*Can I make an arcana (or something else) check to see what it is? If so: 12*
*you vaguely recall learning something about a sort of monstrous Demigod that hoarded everything within his domain and demanded that sailors paid tribute, dragging their ships to the bottom of the ocean with his net if they refused*
Jonah swings his legs over the side of the ship, dropping onto the nearest junk clot. He cautiously tests his weight on the makeshift island, prodding mounds of gunk with his boot. He gags as the pungent aroma grows stronger.

After he lands on the island, he notices something swim beneath it. Something vaguely human, with a large tail and trailing a net behind it. It’s around 6 feet long, including the tail.

He draws his sword. Its blade is crafted from shark teeth rather than steel. He leaps 20 feet to the nearest, stable looking island.

He loses track of the creature in the dark waters, but he sees something else slip off of a nearby island, 10 feet away, and into the water. There’s no way that creature from before could have gotten to that island and then left in just a few seconds. Are there two of them?

He keeps his eyes peeled. He'd usually sniff the air, but the junk has nose blinded him. Instead he focuses on what he can see and hear, and the latter sense is especially keen. He begins to creep along the island, carefully picking his way through the sewage.

It is a three foot tall, bipedal amphibian sort of creature. It has pinkish white flesh and vibrant external gills on its head. Its tail is thick and drags behind it. In one hand it’s holding a net, and in the other, it’s picking up trash and collecting it. *they’re like a humanoid axolotl thing*
