A tall plasmoid walks into the Whalebone Inn, stooping its head underneath the doorframe. It walks up to the bar and says the bartender, "Got any rooms?"
The eight-armed creature nods. He reaches under the counter, his handsome mask deforming against the bar as it does so. When he rises back up, he holds a small key. "Suite 13, my good sir." He holds it out with his long, long arms. "Comes with the voyage."
"Thank you." The plasmoid reaches an also noticeably long arm and grabs the key. "This sure is an interesting boat."
"It's the most technologically and magically advanced ship on this Mocking Earth, my good sir. I'm glad we've grasped your interest."
"Most technologically and magically? Dang. That would make sense according to the rumors I've heard about this place. Apparently there's a hug bottomless pit below decks filled with all sorts of random things."
"Not really a pit, more like a sprawling, constantly shifting complex. But that's a little secret, you see." He chuckles.

Our past makes us who we are, but it shouldn't define who we will be.
"Just grateful to be living. How about yourself?" The plasmoid takes a seat on a stool as he says this.
He grins, "Couldn't have put it better myself! I've got breath in my lungs, strength in my bones, and whiskey in my belly. Ain't life grand?"
"That it is. I'm Mikkel. What's your name?
“I’m Benji, Benji Brasswood.” He studies you, “Do you dance Mikkel? Do you swing?”
"I've seen other people swinging and I think I could if I tried, but considering my shape and the fact no one ever wants to dance with me I don't. I'm not grieved about it though."
“That’s what I was wondering. Your liquid form could give you some smooth movements, but dancing usually requires arms and legs. You could make a very interesting dancer and I’m sure I know a lady or two that would love to dance with a fellow like yourself.” He grins.

"It depends on how the Lords are feeling. Usually the Captain's room doesn't move, but I wouldn't know. I stay up here most of the time."
