 I think it was a great concept just too general. There should have been battle strategies like the blitzkrieg or alexanders false hole strats. Each nation should have a general and the lower tier players could be snipers or infantry/navy/air force leaders who carry out the missions. also resources and gold

Yeah, it was a really simple game. I might make an improved version with more strategy, and a way to prevent people from being upset about not claiming a guild. What extra rules would I add?

maybe something like Faction wars? I can’t link it right now but find DrummerBoyDragonSlayer’s Profile on the spider guild. There were two iterations and it was awesome.

and have a map filled with resources. It could possibly be a turn-based war game with guild trying to collect resources and build up attack power, improving military, buying bases, etc.

 That sounds awesome. Could there be a navy and a general of each guild?

Maybe each faction had some sort of special ability related to them?

We could have positions. For example (and staying fantasy based most likely) there could be 4 guilds, each with 3 members. Each member controls one type of army: Ground troops, navy, and airforce. Or it could be magic-based, such as fighters (fighter, barbarian, etc.), magic users (sorcerer, wizard, etc.), and support type units (such as rogue and cleric)

Maybe there could be dice rolls involved? That’s a system a lot of games like this on the forums used. Like for each soldier you get to add an extra die. Maybe generals and players could personally participate in battles which could give them an extra buff/ more dice?
