Deep in the ███████████ Mountains, There is a complex underground facility that holds many horrors. You are a part of this site, this small piece of the Foundation. Whether or not you rebel against the Foundation, you are here. Perhaps you are a guard, a prisoner. Maybe you are with the Chaos Insurgency, attempting to raid this secret location. It is your story to tell, so I leave it up to you. Just don't ██████████ ████ ██████████.
*Rules*
1. No PVP (this includes being stolen from) without permission from BOTH people playing the characters. If that is agreed to, then PVP may occur outside but no such roughhousing may happen inside the premises. 2. If you wish to run an encounter or something similar, let's talk about it over in PMs and I will see if you can run it. 2a. While running an Encounter, the DM has the right to ask for stats beforehand and veto power over HB. 2b. (Unless stated otherwise by the DM) characters are automatically resurrected after an encounter. How does this happen? Corbenic must be on the fritz. 3. 'Yes and' with people. Although the SCP Foundation enjoys playing fast and loose with Canon, try to accept parts of Canon they put down. If two things disagree (ex. 682 is the Devil from the Bible vs. 682 is the child of the Scarlet King), then just accept both and say that in one person's universe, it is one way, and in another a different way. The Multiverse is remarkably large. 4. Although the occasional low-level swear (like the s#@t or c$%p) is allowed, please do not use overly vulgar language (such as repeated swearing or the f%&@ word or whatnot). 5. Respect people! 6. If an argument gets out of hand, there is always PMs to talk about it so it doesn't clutter up the main thread. If it still isn't resolved, a mod may step in 7. Don’t threaten each other. If a player is not willing to follow through with an action that includes his/her character then please respect their wishes. 8. Please keep things appropriate and go easy on any gorey details or any brutal actions. This also includes 18+ scenes or content (Fade to black/suggestive scenarios). We are not aware of the age of thread participants or how comfortable they are with it, so please keep things down and be mindful of these kinds of things. If you and other players would like to do things like this, please take it to a PM 9. Please go easy on quote chains for ease of mobile users. If someone has very long chains, please let them know in a respectful way. 10. Please refrain from playing specific SCPs or characters. This includes (but is not limited to) 173, 682, 72, 76, any O5, LS (serpent's hand) Masked Lords of Aldaggada, Mr. Dark (MC&D), and more. General SCPs (such as 939 or 131) which are not specific individuals may be played. This rule does not refer to encounters or to flashbacks. If you really want to play a specific SCP, please contact the mods and we can discuss this.
*General Lore*
Okay, so anomalies exist. Anomalies are things that break the rules of reality. They range from duplicating cakes to keys that can open any lock to world-eating gods. Many organizations exist in relation to these Anomalies. These include the SCP Foundation which works to Secure, Contain, and protect Anomalies, the GOC which works to destroy Anomalies, MC&D which works to sell them, and whatnot. In the SCP universe, there is a city in a demi-plane known as Three Portlands (because it is connected to three cities known as 'Portland' in the real world) where anomalies aren't hidden
The main center of the SCP Stories is the SCP Foundation. SCP stands for Secure, Contain, Protect, the motto said Foundation. The SCP Foundation is a multinational, world-spanning, organization that contains multiple instances of 'anomalies', things that break the rules of reality. Everything that the SCP Foundation does is to Secure, Contain and Protect these anomalies.
SCP: Secure Contain Protect. The motto of the SCP Foundation
SCP: Special Containment Procedures. A type of document used by the SCP Foundation that shows how to contain anomalies and information about said anomalies.
Three Portlands: A Demiplane that doesn't have to hide the anomalies.

If you're character is going to say/do something suicidal when roleplaying with me PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put a trigger warning first. I have history with this and it can easily trigger me.
If YOUR suicidal PLEASE get help. I know from experience these things don't just go away without outside help. Not for long anyway.
SCP 8392, “The Bandersnatch,” is being transported to a new containment cell at the Site. SCP 8392 is a wolf like creature, with long spindly limbs with extra joints and a long snout, like a crocodile. Its fur is a muted lavender with tufts of deep violet and orange. Its tail is long and ends in a pinecone shaped stinger similar to a scorpion’s. This SCP is known for being very dangerous, and very fast. Very, very fast.
In the case that SCP-62223 attempts to escape from containment, it is recommended to bring SCP-999 near her, as it's properties will remove the only known thing fueling her powers: negative emotions, mostly anger, sadness or fear. Despite currently being peaceful and not too powerful, her power will most definitely advance farther. She's been in containment for a while, her known powers are currently minor telekinesis and hovering, though they will likely grow in number and become stronger, thus her being placed in Euclid despite never attempting to escape or appearing to be threat, as growth in her power has been observed in the past.
SCP-62223 appears to be a pubescent Caucasian human female with brown hair, 17 years of age, and acts similar to one. She is usually peaceful and has never attempted to escape, she is considered trust-worthy and her cell is well decorated and homey as a reward for good behavior. Her emotions are much more out of control than the average human of her age, her anomalous powers are most likely the origin of this.

Containment: SCP-13608-1 is to be kept encased in a block of dry ice, which is then kept encased in a locked beryllium-bronze box. This box is to be kept in a combination-locked silver tank filled with liquid nitrogen.
Personnel who are unable to resist cognitohazards should not be allowed to view SCP-13608-1.
Description: SCP-13608 currently refers to 2 things. SCP-13608-1 is a spherical gemstone, roughly the size of a human eyeball, which has a cognitohazardous effect on subjects that view it for a minimum of 1.69 seconds. Subjects who do so will either become terrified of SCP-13608, or will be compelled to remove their right eye (or their most central eye) and replace it with SCP-13608-1. It is currently unclear whether this is random, or if SCP-13608 chooses the effect.
Subjects who succeed in replacing their eye with SCP-13608-1, designated SCP-13608-2, will, after 13 days, begin to express pain from a variety of places, including the fingertips, forehead, feet, and tailbone. Subjects also report hearing a faint voice, though recording equipment has been unable to detect it.
Testing to determine longer-term effects pending approval.

Containment: Instances of SCP-7253 is to be induced into crptobiosis, and stored in a standard storage locker until needed for testing. One instance of each primary color variety is to be kept in a standard aquarium filled with 5 centimeters of nutrients gel. Composition detailed in file 7253A.
Description: Instances of SCP 7253 appear to be floating human eyeballs, and are capable of slow, hovering flight. SCP 7253 instances have a variety of iris colors, but otherwise vary little in both appearance and behavior. Instances are capable of a range of telepathic capabilities, ranging from limited empathy, to free transfer of thoughts. Communication has no detrimental effects on subjects recorded as of writing. Instances require nutrition, oxygen, and water, and will go into crptobiosis if needs are not met. Instances can only wake if needs are met. Instances reproduce by infecting willing hosts. It is believed this is an adaptation to prevent humanity hunting and terminating SCP 7253. SCP 7253 infections are spread by contact of mucosa membranes on the eye. The infected subject is now considered an instance of SCP 7253-1. The subject's infected eye will slowly change coloration to match the instance that infected the subject, with some variation in shade. The subject's eyesight rapidly improves to optimal levels, and continues. Subjects report improved night vision, clarity, and restoration of prior eye conditions. The subject's eyes are now considered instances of SCP 7253, and leave upon subject's termination. Instances of SCP 7253 claim to be capable of observing some antimemetic creatures, and claim to eat [Redacted].
Note: Who redacted this? -Dr. Smith
Addendum:
Instances exhibiting traits of extremely light iris colorations are to be terminated immediately.
