One thing i will say on this topic is you should dm for your friends before dming for money. If your friends like you, do it. I personally am a dm that people generally agree am a bit of a rules lawyer, so i generally dm for groups that don’t overdo it on the Homebrew. There’s no guarantee your players as a paid dm will have similar play styles to you, hence why I don’t dm for money
