Time to go on a rant about one of my favorite things in any form of media
Chains. It doesn’t matter how they are used, a character that uses chains to fight is automatically cool in my opinion. Specifically in games and anime, watching or playing someone who uses chains is so fun and entertaining to watch because of how versatile they are. They can be used as whips to keep at a distance, they can be used as bonds to set up combos, you can extend the reach of normal weight, and my favorite, you can grab someone with them and swing them around to your heart’s content, slamming them into the walls and ground. And even further, chainsaw weapons. Great swords are cool, but what if its edges were a rapidly rotating row of jagged, serrated metal teeth? That’s even cooler. Axes, how about a chainaxe? Spear, how about a chainspear? Katana, HOW ABOUT A CHAINKATANA?! DOES THAT NOT SOUND ABSOLUTELY EPIC TO YOU?
