Ah, Victorian era England. What a wonderful time and place to be alive. At least if you ignore all the Vampire, Ghouls, Werewolves and Ghosts. Oh yeah. I should probably explain those. Magic has been around since the dawn of man, and various people have magical abilities. But these beasts are new, maybe only a century or two years old, and only now becoming a threat. Ghosts haunt graveyards and the homes of those they loved in life. Vampires hide in the shadows, lurking, waiting for their next victim. Werewolves tear unsuspecting people to shreds. Bodies must be disposed of properly, lest they rise again of unholy revenants. This is a problem. Especially in high population areas where these scourges can spread like wildfires. One man 40 years ago suggested a solution. A government funded organization, dedicated solely to the eradication of dangerous creatures and protecting the public from them. This man? Abraham Van Hellsing, creator of the Hellsing Organization and currently very dead. Now, it's up to this generation of monster hunters to deal with this problem. In moderation you must slay, as all monster hunters must take an oath to only use their powers for good, not for personal gain. The bird of Hermes shall be your name, eating your wings to keep you tame.
