I’m struggling to think of furries/therians atm, but I never thought they were that un comforting you’re like insulting two different people in one shot

Nah, completely straight. Just because most of my characters end up in a maid outfit somehow doesn’t mean I’m not.
Yknow, my gaming group has very little mention of romance compared to other campaigns I see. Not a bad thing just interesting to me. The most prominent mention was in my least campaign when we were rescued by Aaracrokra and their human princess had a crush on my character, I ended up using my changelings powers to get away from the palace (also, the guards would kill me if I hadn’t, can’t have a non royalty contaminating the bloodline) No one ever let that go though, especially since she had an army, there were definitely threats to drag me back to her kingdom frequently or mentions of how an army would be really nice at the moment
Were you playing Tomb of Annihilation? Somebody in our group had a similar situation when they played ToA.
Yeah Tomb If Annihaltion. We ended up stopping the campaign at the point where we were running away from Acerak The Archlich, after we’d just found a giant creepy demon baby. We’d lost a party member in the fight, most of us had gotten low, and several of us were unconscious or extremely injured. We’d end up losing like 2 - 3 more people just because we couldn’t run fast enough while carrying them. That would’ve left like only 3 members of the party not dead.
Yeah that campaign was a real meat grinder, but I think the romance with the princess was a bright spot against all the death and carnage.
