I am making a Wendigo chef who actually isn't a cannibal... anymore.
I'm not sure what his cuisine would be. I'm thinking Paula Deen-style: very good, very unhealthy. My concept involves him basically being the Toby to his family's Mrs. Lovett and Sweeny Todd. As in, literally descended from those two. They were fed human meat pies for most of their life, and they were never interested in food at all... and then they tried a crappy burger from a chain restaurant and they changed their tune completely. Turns out they just didn't like being a cannibal. So instead they cook monsters!
...which, since they are a monster, is also kind of cannibalism.

A mysterious chef from a famous restaurant. In fact, the town it was built in is known for very little else. Most consider it a mere backdrop to the place. It's been on Chef's Table, despite the, you know, chef never being present for filming, giving an interesting sort of "fill in the blanks" storytelling told from the perspectives of the many sous chefs and cooks.
Despite high readings of Dread Energy (the psychic resonance that creates Sorrowsworn, False Hydras, and other imaginary monsters), there hasn't been a monstrous threat ever since the restaurant was built. Strange figures buy up any monster parts harvested from the nearby woods or ocean. The conclusion is obvious, but many of the residents are desperate to keep their open secret.
After all, if people knew there was a powerful monster (adventurer-level powerful, of course) living in town, the amount of attempted heroes would increase tenfold. And spilled blood in the kitchen is far from sanitary.

I was thinking my chef, Enoch, might be made of some sort of flowing, stretchy shadow-flesh. They use this to appear taller, and to sort of glide along the ground, their long chef's coat drifting along the ground behind them. They are malleable, and thus dangerous.
