O sorrow, I have ended, you see, by respecting you, because I am certain you will never leave me.
Ah! I realize it: your beauty lies in the force of your being. You are like those who never left the sad fireside corner of my poor black heart.
O my sorrow, you are better than a well-beloved: because I know that on the day of my final agony, you will be there, lying in my sheets, O sorrow, so that you might once again attempt to enter my heart.

Story explanation! Would you play a game/watch a show/read a story like this? This story takes place in the Gilden Region in the Pokémon universe. Gilden is a relatively small region, but their annual Pokémon gym challenge means a lot to them. In most towns, it's treated like a festival, and gym leaders are renowned in their towns. And in Ansed town, a sleepy little town a little way up a mountain, there we meet our main character: Molly Fletcher, a 15-year-old girl who dreams of traveling the region and the world. She's always wanted to take on the gym challenge with her partner, Blue the Vaporeon, but she's too busy helping run her mom's laundromat. But she finds ways to involve herself with the gym challenge, talking to the temps who work at the Pokémon Center and pelting the local gym leader, Juniper, with questions. (There's an entire side storyline where Juniper struggles with filling her late father's shoes as the gym leader and almost full-on quits.) Finally, she manages to talk her mom into letting her participate in the gym challenge, and she begins her adventure, setting off to the first town on the order. All the while, something sinister bubbles beneath the surface of Gilden's biggest medical corporation (name pending). A journalist from Galar seeks Molly's help once she's tackled a few gyms. She needs a strong enough trainer to help her break into one of Team Hex's hideouts.

Team Hex is this region's evil team. They're dedicated to harnessing pokemon's true potential for human use. In the first base, Admin Luna is surrounded by her machines. In the second, admin Merlo is trying to build such a bond with his pokemon that they become one. At first, they're a nusaince, but when Cora(the journalist) and molly bust up the third base, they discover something: Project Chimera. Base three's team, with funding and support from the CEO of the medical company, have managed to fuse a person with a pokemon.
This person is the tragic hero's foil, Hazel Gold. Her father, the CEO, seemed to be too interested in his projects to spend time with her anymore. So she put her brilliant mind to use and joined team hex, becoming one of her father's advisors. But it wasn't enough. He was still distant, still enveloped in his work. When his most dangerous project, Project Chimera, needed volunteers, she was the only volunteer. She chased her father's love and ended up melded with an eevee.

Okay, that sounds amazing in my personal opinion, but I just love most of these ideas. I still need to make a fire force thread.
I might make it, I might not. Anyways, how is that going?

I’m rewatching Fire Force at the moment to get a feel for the vibe again, forgot how good the intros and outros were, haven’t really started yet, but it’ll take me a week of focused effort, tops.

Ooh, do tell
A second generation fire soldier, whose powers actually got him denied from the Fire Force several times, until he was able to hold off a demon level infernal until stronger forces arrived. His ability allows him to amplify pre existing flames greatly, as where most fire soldiers would think this ability relatively useless for fire fighters, he instead uses it to create small sparks and blast opponents to ask. I’m imagining he carries a flame thrower or something, kinda looking like pyro, maybe.

Oh dang. That was like. Exactly the same as my idea. Instead of carrying a flamethrower though, he used swords, custom sheaths that create sparks when the sword is drawn. I’m guessing you can see what follows. He also throws lighters at people like grenades
