I've been trying to make a character for Dungeon of the Mad Mage lately, and so far I have found no success. It's a family game, so I need to make sure things aren't too gory or spooky, and I also have to fit in with Forgotten Realms lore, which I pretty much never studied because I'm genuinely not interested.
Hmmm.... I'm not super well-versed in Forgotten Realms either, so unfortunately I might not be of much help there. I hope you find a concept you really like, and that the campaign goes wonderfully!
