Sure! They are basically octopus mermaids. They have eight tentacles instead of six like in Little Mermaid. One time Octopus Woman was on a beach digging for clams when Raven came by. He kept pestering her and pestering her until finally Octopus Woman grabbed him with her tentacles and held him underwater until he drowned. But being a trickster god, Raven came back from the dead and apologized, and eventually he and Octopus Woman and their people became friends.
The name “Cecaelia” is a modern fiction writer’s invention because “Octopus Person” sounded too long and cumbersome. That’s not what the Natives called her.

If ya'll are lookin' for some fun Native myths, try looking up some if the Choctaw Tribe ones. They actually have one about like a humanoid elk god of the forest. He was peaceful most of the time, but if Native hunters angered him, he would supposedly run ahead of the hunters and warn/scare off all the animals so that the hunters couldn't catch anything.
