You know the scenes where a girl cuts her hair with a knife and its all cool and bad@ss and stuff? It doesnt work i had to sharpen the frick out of my carving knife just for it to barely work. Apparently my knife had such a hard time cutting like 15 strands of hair that it decided to fight me and cut a flap of skin off my thumb instead Dont do this. (btw this was like 1.5 years ago)

Might be the type of knife. Ain’t a carving knife more for whittling and stuff. Kinda scooping out the wood. A kitchen knife might do better, but you also might end up loosing a finger or two
