Yes, I think so, but I’m very tired and haven’t watched Hocus Pocus in a few months :< I need to
Oh right, Hocus Pocus is Halloween! Never mind, I don't just know The Shining
well, Hocus Pocus and (I suppose also kinda) the shining are Halloween movies, but Hocus Pocus is far from a horror movie. There’s Halloween movies, but then there’s Horror movies, and they’re pretty different as genres

No worries, I misquote stuff a ton. I just watched Hocus Pocus this Friday, otherwise I might not have caught it
You watch Halloween movies out of season?
Who doesn't? Anyways if you excuse me Imma get ready for eating way too much sugar and watching 1000 horror movies at my friends house in 5 days dressed up as a ringmaster steampunk thingy.

Fair. Although I can only bring myself to watch one of those genres anyways.
Except I saw the Five Nights at Freddy's movie.
Never mind, actually, most of that movie was hot garbage. Except for one scene where a gang of 3 or so people died.

I don’t think I’ve ever watched a movie out of season. I think it would hurt my soul. Same goes for seasonal music (with minor exceptions). It feels more special to only do it during one time of year.

It does, but not season ain't bad. Seasonal with friends and soda and stuff is like movie theatre, but outa season is like... well... just at home...

It was legitimately like five seconds of The Shining when I was 10.
I saw the 6th sense and found it oddly heartwarming

It does, but not season ain't bad. Seasonal with friends and soda and stuff is like movie theatre, but outa season is like... well... just at home...
watching movies at home isn’t so bad. I rarely go to the theaters, cause I’m hardly interesting in most of the movies coming out. Though earlier Sinners came out, and I didn’t get around to seeing that.
(Keep in mind I have 5 siblings at home to watch movies with, so I don’t watch stuff alone very often)
Infact, I might be considered slightly religious about it by some people. To me they just seem logically but I think many people don’t do this sort of stuff.
1. I never check my phone while watching a movie. Some people are so bad at this, like legit they aren’t watching a movie, they’re reading social media posts with a dim glow in the background. Pay attention to the goddamn movie!
2. You should watch movies that are in sets in order. Preferably without a ton of time inbetween. Like how can you just watch Revenge Of The Sith on a random afternoon and not see Episode 1 or 2 first?? Star Wars isn’t the best example, but like imagine someone like watching The Return of The King, then watching The Fellowship and The Two Towers. Even just watching The Return of The King randomly without seeing the other two first
3. This isn’t really a rule, more just force of habit, but I feel weird watching a movie during the day (unless it’s a theater). It’s a very evening sort of activity. If I want to watch something during the day I usually go for whatever show I’m watching at the time
4. Watching two shows or movie series simultaneously is a huge no. You can’t just switch your focus like that! (Just to be clear, watching a show while watching movies is okay. Also when I say that I mean in general, like watching a show here and there during a week and a movie on one of the nights. Ofc you won’t literally be doing both at the same time)
Example: someone switching between watching Avatar The Last Airbender and the gay She Ra. On Monday they watch the first three episodes of Avatar, on Tuesday they start She Ra, and then Wednesday they go back to Avatar! And repeat this pattern with minor differences. To me this feels akin to reading two books at the same time. How can you be emotionally invested in both when you’re switching like that. One at a time
also, this is probably just autism or something. I’m not truly saying any of these are really not okay to do, they just feel weird to me, and I would never do them personally. Wonder at my weird ways, but to be clear I’m not imposing them on you. Except rule 1
apologies in advance, I’m sure this post is messy as f*** cause it’s late, I’m tired, and I hardly edited it

I watch Hocus Pocus specifically on occasion, but I do always watch it during October as well. I think the last time I watched it was like May?
