Every good artist says that! My best friends are all super good at drawing. I look at one of their drawings, they go "Ew that one sucked you can skip that one." But it would take me years to draw even that. So your art does not suck.

Yes! Yes! As someone who duels yes this is true! And also, swing attacks are crap. And if a fight lasts like 10 minutes both people are stupid. And no spin. And if you dodge roll you get stabbed then stab yourself, instead... just... sidestep... or speedwalk backwards. And also, small crossguards.

Agreed! Swings are pointless. Literally.
A ten minute fight may just mean both people are great defensive duelists but are hopeless when they realize "oops I need to actually attack them." Which is what I do.
Yeah, forget dodge rolling. As long as you're 95% creative and 5% stupid with your footwork you can do anything
And I have big hands so small crossguards are awkward for me, but I see your point.
As someone who sort-of duels, but I really just kind of free-form swordfight more than anything else, I'm not super knowledgeable.
