I’m conflicted. Would it be cool? Yes. But I like sun bathing so not for me.
It’s more of a pain than anything. Cool, I can fly, hypnotize people (not something I want), and have ‘unnatural’ strength. I just can’t be outside during the day, go to any social function without a personal invite, see myself, count everything I see get spilled, nor can I eat anything with garlic, which I love. Oh, and I need to kill and drink people to live.

a while ago i had an idea for a barbarian subclass. it would be sort of like a way upscaled version of the spell Blaze Of Glory. basically everything within like between 200-300 ft(idk the exact range) takes massive damage, like idk, 40 d20s, or something. that might seem totally overpowered, but there is a major drawback. usually if your character dies, you can just ressurect them through various means, right? well in this case, everything killed by the blast cannot be brought back through any means. spells cant do it, they are not in any underworld/afterlife, and the Wish spell cannot bring them back either. plus it would also have some other stuff, cause a subclass cant just have one thing. it'd be like energy building up in the character, and they can use some of it to do certain things. but if they let it build too long, there's like a complication, like with downtime activities. i was thinking i'd call the subclass Blaze Of Glory, and the ability Second Sun. what do y'all think?
(i cant be the only one who wants my characters to die in an epic roleplay moment, right?)
