I wanna write something in a new world, fantasy, and not spend too much time on the worldbuilding. Could y'all throw out plot and character ideas?
What sort of fantasy?
High, maybe dark.
Was gonna make a ‘high’ joke that wouldn’t have ended well, so lemme just forget that xD
Obviously gotta have elves, along with humans and some sort of magical beast.
Uhhhhhhh maybe not elves. Humans yes. So maybe low then ig.
Okie
What do you want it (the world) to be like? War-torn? Peaceful, but with tensions stirring? Oppressive and whatnot? Or something else (I’m just giving examples above)?
And for the plot, what sort of…style should it be?

ok, I lied. that's just a bad combo. now cinamon rolls...
Cinnamon rolls can be horrible.
how dare you insult the magnificnce of taste and the paragon of sweet beutey!!
They’re quintessentially unhealthy, that’s for sure. Dunno about ‘paragon[s] of sweet beauty’.
I know. I was mostly kidding, as I'm aware everyone has their own tastes.
I get that. I’m fine with people sharing their opinions, and I thought I could share mine there. My bad.
No. Your logic was perfectly sound. No need to say sorry for that.
I shared an opinion, which isn’t logical (as it’s based upon personal experience/emotion and thus is subject to bias). Anyway, I’m apologizing for being overly cold in my description. Sorry again.

I was thinking wartorn. I really vibe with the villainous dragon riders from Race to the Edge (Part of the HTTYD franchise). So probably dragon fights or smth. Dragon warssssss. Dragons might just be of animal intelligence and all they can do is fly. But you still gotta train them.

Chronicling the rise of two dragon riders…from opposite sides?
I’m being a little inside-the-box on this, but rider #1 could be an underprivileged kid growing up on the streets who trains hard and somehow gets an opportunity to fight for their country?
And for juxtaposition, #2 could be rich and destined to learn to fight? Or maybe expected to do other things, but muscles their way into the riders?
Even leaves room for alliance & romance between the two.

Why isn't the opinion logical?
An opinion is inherently illogical because no opinion is completely neutral. It’s always biased based on emotion and experience, like I said.
For example: a father held captive is brought to two of his children, who, let’s say for the purpose of this, are different. One shies away and is unkind to the father, while the other loves him greatly.
He is told he will be freed along with a child if he chooses one to remain in captivity for life. He’ll most likely choose the lovelier one.
Or, if they were the same in relation to him, he might choose to remain in captivity so both of them can leave. Either way, his emotions and experiences ultimately decide who is the most important.
