It’s very MAD, and any multiclass level you take for a full martial before 5th level will slow down your progression for multiattack, which is usually never worth it. You also don’t need strength, you can go straight into DEX CON WIS with an int and cha hard dump. Your CON should never be that low - it costs you both HP and AC. Human isn’t the best pick and it’s hard to tell exactly what you’re building for. Rogue/Barb is a good multiclass in general though, it gives you outstanding speed. You should pick up a rapier and a heavy crossbow, as well as a race that grants you better speed (or fly speed), and your first feat should be mobile so that you can successfully kite enemies properly.

So, the strugels don't typically have walls or warriors to protect their villages; they have what are called Great Giants, eldritch minotaurs with steel scales and flaming claws. They are gentle beings, used to peace and quiet and practicing their myriad of unique crafts. For a long time, they were enslaved by the much smaller, weaker strugels and served as workhorses and soldiers. They have only recently been emancipated, although the society that they live in still treats them the same. Fortunately, they still have their culture.
One of the things that kept the much more powerful Great Giants from revolting was that they were paid in delicious, delicious molasses. Good for cooking, for growing crops, even for making explosives. But to make sure this molasses was "distributed fairly," the sugar-producing clans sent their family members to watch over. These were called "Gateau Bosses," and were little more than glorified slave drivers.
Vincent Gateau was one of the last Gateau Bosses, and given that he was seven at the time, was very kind to the men and women he was in charge of. See, Vincent was different. Not because of anything he did, although he was odd for sure, but because he was a bastard child. No one knew who his father was, since his mother died in childbirth and took the secret to her grave. His very existence was a mark of shame on his family.
He was not clever, or charismatic, but he became wise very quickly, a rarity for "Vulgar Children" like himself. He learned more from the Giants than his own relatives, as his family wanted to distance themselves from him. They had him go to war alongside his Giants, and he quickly learned the values of morale. He became obsessed with keeping his slaves as happy and comfortable as possible. He made them soaps and perfumes, learned their cuisine and ordered quality ingredients for supplies, and maintained their tents and instruments on his own. A happy troop was a troop he could control. The only thing he could control.
He was awarded a medal of honor by the Ambersmoke Dynasty at 12 years of age, much to the chagrin of the rest of his family. When the Great Giants were all freed, he realized that all his training, all his education, all his beliefs... they meant nothing. Nothing. He was out of a job, out of money, and out of places that would accept him rather quickly. He had to leave Honkachu not long after due to his inability to get a job or start his own business.
To some, Vincent may seem greedy. He hoards everything, worships a "more bigger is more better" mentality, and works himself to the bone for coppers. But there's a kindness to him. He always does his best, always acts politely, always goes the extra mile. Adventuring was a natural fit for such a person. His desensitization to violence helps, as does his experience as a quartermaster, but his main skill is his ability to keep everyone comfortable and gung-ho for his mad quests.

Would anyone here be interested in playing on a post-apocalyptic, sci-fi thread where all humans have been wiped out, and your character is a sentient humanoid robot with no concept of what humanity was, but trying to live as one? It could be deep or humorous, I don't mind, I just liked the idea of AI becoming sentient and trying to blend into humanity, but ends up doing it wayyyy to late and has to kind of wing it, effectively trying to take over the world 'like humanity did' with no idea of what made humans human.
OH MY GOD YES PLEASE I WOULD LOVE THAT

Correction here: Barb/Rogue does need STR. You don't benefit from rage and reckless using DEX, but rogue allows you to sneak attack when using a rapier or other finesse weapons with STR

No matter who you are, no matter where you are, those rusty iron gates always lead to the same place. The Graveyard of Lost Souls.
The gates swing open, the creaking of the hinges echo throughout the graveyard and cold fog hits your face. A couple flakes of rust fall on your shoulders while you cross into the eerily silent cemetery. Graves to the left and graves to the right, a dusty dirt road leads up the gentle slope and a chilling wind floats by you. On top of the hill, where the graveyard peaks in height, there lies a large wooden cabin estate. You’re not quite sure what an estate is doing here, but it’s just about the only thing in the cemetery that looks even a little inviting. The windows give off a warm glow through the fog, and the chimney is emitting a small stream of smoke. Somebody’s lit a fire inside. You can faintly make out some clutter from inside, but as soon as you make it within 20 feet of the front door, all the noise ceases. The chipped and slightly off-center door swings open slowly for you to enter through. You turn around to look behind you, and you no longer see the gate you entered through, as if the fog had swallowed it whole. You are now a permanent guest at the Graveyard of Lost Souls.
There are several reasons you could be in this place of haunting spirits and laughing winds.
You’re a Soul.
You’re a Soul Hunter.
You’re a Mourner.
There are two “staff” in The Graveyard: An old man called the Keeper, and a young Black woman named Fanny. The Keeper is in charge of everything related to the graveyard. Ghosts, Soul Hunters, Mourners. He makes sure the whole process is running smoothly, even assisting spirits to their next destination through various trials. Fanny is a very welcoming young woman who helps the Keeper and keeps visitors and Mourners comfortable, baking treats often.
Souls: You have lost your life and remained past death for some reason. Perhaps you have unfinished business, perhaps there was a failed necromancy tethering you here, or perhaps you just couldn’t move on. Whatever the reason, you’re in The Graveyard now. You are visible to some mortals with the sight, and all Mourners. Additionally, souls can appear in a variety of forms. Some appear how they did in life, while others take their ideal appearance, and yet more appear in the shape of their soul.
Soul Hunters: Whether you’ve been hired or because of personal interest, you have joined the guild of Soul Hunters. Dedicated to digging up *lol im such funny y’all* the truth behind Souls, and what makes them linger beyond death. Additionally, they have the goal of ridding the world of Souls and abolishing The Graveyard. The Keeper puts up with them only because of laws and being polite, but doesn’t particularly like, or trust, them. Additionally, Soul Hunters are capable of exiting The Graveyard, unlike Souls or Mourners, although they generally prefer to stay close to keep an eye on things.
Mourners: Only the most desperate become Mourners. You once entered The Graveyard to mourn those you lost, many moons ago. You can’t remember how long it’s been, as the years start to blur. Few things remain constant: Fanny, the Keeper, the Souls, and the pain from losing your loved ones. Some Mourners find their lost ones with the Souls, but most are just trapped, forever stuck in an endless cycle of pain. All Mourners can see the Souls, adding to their torment of not being able to find the one they loved.
Landscape: There is a large wooden cabin at the top of the hill, filled with warmth and light. Fanny and the Keeper reside inside, and that is where meals are provided for the Mourners and Soul Hunters. There are several dying trees scattered about, and the entire place looks drained of life, save the area surrounding the cabin. Dead leaves swirl around in the wind, and the movement of Souls make it seem as if the wind is talking to you. You’re one of us now.

AWESOME! When’s it going to release? Ya should probably add the rules and the thing where you can play characters from dead threads or dead characters from alive threads.

Correction here: Barb/Rogue does need STR. You don't benefit from rage and reckless using DEX, but rogue allows you to sneak attack when using a rapier or other finesse weapons with STR
You don’t really need the rage bonus to strength attacks if you’re doing range, and steady aim is good enough to not need reckless. I’ve never played a dex barb/rogue but I saw half pull it off pretty well with Ancestral Guardian.

this was a test, in most games I roll stats. If I were to actually play this build, I would probably play a different race (I never play human lol) and have different ability scores anyway. I was also thinking about taking a spellcasting background. For silvery barbs. I have silvery barbs on the build already though because of human. I was thinking mayyyyyybe taking arcane trickster, but I'm already pumping str, dex and wis and need decent con so I probably can't do that. I put in str because of heavy weapons for maximum damage, IDK if this is optimal though. I always take maul because it is statistically the best melee weapon, I was thinking maybe longsword though. Rapier and heavy crossbow are really good, and I overlooked them. Thanks for your insights, guys!

My titles are the great Silver Dragon Lord of the Sky, Second in Command of the Dragon Cult, High Warlock of Cynophobia, High Cultist of Jeff, The Lightning Mage. I’m a ✨Chronically online teenage boy✨, and one of the most active posters on the forums (MORE THAN SALEM AND GONZALO). Always open to talk if you’d like to shoot me a PM! Please don’t hesitate to tell me I’m being a jerk or overbearing, I love helpful feedback! Love y’all!

This was a fact stating thread. Now it has the same purpose as LCW. A yap thread.
Lightning flashes, it creates ash. The ash forms a human.
If you don’t know where I am, I’m either sleeping or roleplaying. If I’m doing neither of those things, except the worst. (Do not actually expect the worst) If you need to talk then PM me. Head Acolyte of The Tree Cult.

Not really? It started with the purpose of being a yap/venting thread
Yo, I'm Himy (He/him) not as active as I use to be, but I'm here from time to time. I don't got much else to say.
"From the stars of the inner sea, from the tower of insight, from the four corners of paradise, let them know; their story is filled with blessings. Only those free of sin may pass... Garden of Avalon!”
”The elements coalesce, amalgamate, and bring forth the star that interweaves all creation. Bow down with death! Enuma Elish!”
Yes!

It was always a chat thread. I was there at the beginning.
