When I love someone, I just want them to be happy. Even if they don't care about me that way in return, and even if they have those feelings for someone else, I don't get jealous or envious, it just makes me happy that they found happiness. A little sadder that it couldn't be with me, but still happy overall.
But yeah, I don't have the thing where I need them to love me back. So that's why I'd thought I was aromantic.

One thing you should learn is that even if they’re happy, if you’re not, you should let them know or break it off. It’s not healthy to just be the happy one for others if you can’t be happy yourself.
