Description-
Oliver "Ollie" Whitaker
Age: 11
Appearance: Ollie is a small, slender boy with a mop of unruly, sandy-blonde hair that seems to have a life of its own. His large, hazel eyes are always alight with curiosity, and he often sports a faraway look, as if he’s lost in his own world. He wears round, wire-rimmed glasses that are perpetually slipping down his nose, and his clothes are a patchwork of hand-me-downs and thrift store finds, giving him a slightly eclectic appearance. Ollie’s favorite piece of clothing is a faded red hoodie with a little embroidered patch of a book on the pocket.
Ollie is sitting at the base of Charlie, the big tree. He’s cross-legged on a blanket of fallen leaves, his journal open on his lap. His trusty pencil is poised in his hand, and he’s sketching a detailed map of Mockingbird Woods, complete with fantastical additions like fairy groves and hidden treasure spots.
Then, with a sudden burst of inspiration, he leaps to his feet, tucks his journal into his hoodie pocket, and sets off deeper into the woods, his mind alive with the possibilities of what he might discover. As he walks, he hums a little tune to himself, a melody that seems to blend perfectly with the sounds of the forest around him.
