Background Information: This thread is the official Part 2 to ❖-Between Gold and Stone: A Bizarre Adventure-❖, a story inspired by the anime and manga series. Although this is a Part 2, it takes place in a 4th continuity to the previous 3 (Phantom Blood, Steel Ball Run, Ireneverse) we know of in the official story of the series. This means that you can participate in the thread even if you didn't play in Part 1, and can play even if you don't know much or anything about Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
The Lore: The year is 1670, smack bang in the middle of the Golden Age of Piracy. Enrico Pucci, previously the pirate king of the Caribbean seas, and more commonly known by the name of his Stand, Whitesnake, has been captured by Pirate Hunters of the British Empire, and before he is executed, he announces to the world that he has buried all his fortune, and the Scroll of the strongest Stand in the world, in one piece. And so, a new age of piracy begins, with pirates of all types venturing out into the seas to find Whitesnake’s Treasure. Some wield Stands, whilst others manipulate the deadly art of Plunge, some even controlling otherworldly techniques like Spin. And in the middle of all of this, is young Jollini Joestar, aspiring pirate and Stand user, hoping one day to become the strongest Stand user to ever rule the seas. And so, with their motley crew of comrades, they set sail on their ship, the Green Dolphin from the port of Morioh, encountering friends, foes and mysterious forces on the way to discover Whitesnake’s Treasure!
Creating Your Character Races: You can play as a regular human, who can potential have a Stand, and learn to master Spin or Plunge, or you can play as one of the Pillar Men, ancient beings of extraordinary strength and regenerative abilities as well as the ability to absorb others though not take their power- it's their way of eating, though, Pillar Men cannot have a Stand. However due to the strength of the Pillar Men, only a certain number of people can play one at a time, so contact a mod if you want to play one. Identity: Since this thread takes place within a separate universe to the original two Jojoverses, you are welcome to play Alternate Universe (AU) versions of existing characters. They can be a remake of a singular pre-existing character (Like Johnny Joestar) or a mix of two character concepts (Not like Josuk8, but more like Kei being thought to have inspirations from both Keicho and Jotaro). Of course, you are also always welcome to play a completely original character.
Abilities Spin: The mystical, universal, technique harnessed through the rotation of objects, imbuing them with energy and unleashing devastating effects upon impact. (Extra D8 of Damage with Ranged Attacks) Plunge: A martial arts technique unique to the Sea Of Stone universe, which manipulates the soul to strike through living creatures and inflict extra damage on them depending on how strong and free their soul is. You deal an extra 1d4 Necrotic damage when you make unarmed strikes, or an extra 1d8 Necrotic damage when you make an unarmed strike against a Pillar Man or Stand User. Particularly strong Plunge Users can even phase through objects. Stands: Stands are the most common and versatile of the abilities a person can possess, as they represent a person’s soul, and can be pretty much anything, but are usually a fighting spirit that Stands alongside the User.
How to Create Your Stand If you choose to play a Stand User, the details on how to create a Stand are below.
First, choose how your character got their Stand. In this universe there are 4 ways: You were either born with it innately, survived the Stand Virus, or ate the meat of an animal or fruit of a plant that had the Stand Virus, which will transfer the Virus over to you.
The final way to gain a Stand is to own a Scroll containing a Stand from Whitesnake. This is rare but can help you forge a connection with the main plot. Speak to a mod if you want to go this route.
Next you will have to choose your Stand’s abilities and appearance, along with its type, which is detailed further below.
Stands should be named after a song or band of your choice.
Stand abilities should be unique and balanced, with strengths and weaknesses, so avoid creating overly powerful or game-breaking Stands that overshadow other players' abilities.
Stands with abilities that directly manipulate time, space, or reality on a large scale are not allowed, as they can disrupt the balance of the RP thread and create narrative inconsistencies.
Stands with abilities that grant omniscience or omnipotence are not allowed, as they can invalidate plot progression and character development.
Stands with abilities that cause permanent or irreversible effects on characters or the environment are not allowed, as they can limit storytelling possibilities and create conflicts among players.
Stands with abilities that rely solely on luck or chance for their effectiveness are discouraged, as they can lead to unpredictable outcomes and disrupt the flow of the RP thread.
Provide a detailed description of your Stand's appearance, abilities, and limitations when introducing it in the RP thread, allowing other players to understand and interact with your character effectively.
Stand Types: The Stand types are as follows:
Close-Combat: Stands that excel in direct physical confrontation.
Long-Range: Stands capable of attacking from a distance.
Automatic: Stands with autonomous actions and abilities.
Colony: Stands composed of multiple smaller entities.
Bound: Stands bound to objects or locations, exerting influence within their vicinity. (Max Range is 20 Meters)

[Oh yeah, that's another thing. Some people who played in Part 1 have already started developing characters to play, which will probably be reintroduced when the adventure starts to fully explain them. I'm personally playing Jollini Joestar, the main character, a mix of Jolyne and a character from Part 1 called Fellini, who's Stand is Drunken Sailor, a Long Range Stand that can induce powerful nausea, and an AU version of Dio Brando, who's a Pirate Hunter for the British Empire and side antagonist, and has the Stand The World Revolving, a Close Range Stand that can help Dio navigate with the globe in its stomach, and can become mythical creatures with its technique Stronger Monsters]
*For anyone curious I will be playing Ricardo with the stand Passing Through, which increases his physical abilities at the cost of his health, and Niverde with the stand X gonna give it to ya, which either completely eliminates the function of something or improves its by drawing an X on it. Niverde will be the main villain. Also if you have a cool and interesting idea, just say it. We are going to be running this story as a community mostly.*
*Werewolves of London: a bestial, cobbled-together creature resembling Frankenstein’s monster, but made of animal body parts. It has a powerful bite attack, and if any of its saliva enters the bloodstream of a human, the human will be transformed into an exact physical replica of the Stand user. However, the person maintains their personality, memories, and Stand, if they have one. The effects can be undone by either the user’s death or the addition of the victim’s blood from before they were transformed into their circulatory system.*

[Jobah, remind me, who's Werewolves of London's user? It's a really cool ability, can't wait to see it in action!]
*i haven’t created the users for any of these yet. they’re designed to be up for grabs, and i’ll make characters for the Stands left behind. here’s another:
California Dreamin’
Power: C
Speed: B
Range: D
Stamina: A
Precision: A
Potential: D
Description: California Dreamin’ resembles a red wireframe model of a human with long legs and no arms. It has three floating shiny black orbs in front of its “face” that act like eyes. It has a black halo-like aura atop its head and a crack along its chest area. It often stands with a slumped and slanted posture, with its knees facing inward. The Stand is semi-sentient, communicating with its user and instinctively protecting them, but still bound to obey their commands at its core.
Ability: California Dreamin’ has the ability to slow or increase the speed of cell division within any living organism it can touch, including its user. This can be used to make an organism grow or wither, or make its exterior harder or softer. It can also kick really hard. Like, ostrich levels of kicking.*

Yo, I'm Himy (He/him) not as active as I use to be, but I'm here from time to time. I don't got much else to say.

[Ah thanks, I worked it out, wasn't the answer I was looking for but still thanks for helping! Yeah, this story should be pretty awesome, we still need to work out the 'ultimate Stand' that Whitesnake buried with his fortune. Obviously if we go with the idea of it being buried at Cape Canaveral, which makes the most sense and I don't know where else we would put it (gives us a route around the entire world too), then Made In Heaven is the clear pick, but I really, really don't want that since 1. It's unoriginal, and 2. We literally only just did a universe reset. What ideas do you guys have?]

*Star Platinum was technically stated to be the ultimate stand, although it isn’t the most powerful one. Maybe something like that. Also someone must kill Diavolo, I don’t care how but it has to happen.*
[Yeah, SP was stated to be the ultimate stand, but then again, Dio called Hermit Purple the weakest Stand, and then (well technically previously) also called Survivor the weakest Stand. Also, doesn't Steely Dan claim the Lovers are the weakest Stand as well? Anyway, the point I mean is that it's all up to opinion what the strongest and weakest Stand is. (I'd say Made In Heaven, King Crimson, Bites The Dust and GER if that counts are all better than SP, but the term 'ultimate' means a lot of things. Basically just a strong Stand is what we need to be used as a final reward of such.
Also we will definitely kill Diavolo at some point, gotta cement this in Jojo canon! Let's have him get dragged under the ship!]
