I had an idea for a gaster blaster magic item that could work somewhat like a a mighty Servant of Leuk-O. Just an idea, though.
How so?
Also, I'm gonna try to make a statblock for the Sans fight at one point. It's been done before, but I have my own personal ideas for it that I haven't seen anywhere else.
Just as in it has its own statblock and you use actions to command it.
Welp, the chances of this dying look high if it's already fell off... But I'll stay determined for a bit here.
Question: What soul trait do you think fits you the most? I'm talking about Patience, Bravery, Integrity, Perseverance, Kindness, Justice, and whatever the (gp) the red soul is.
Red soul is Determination isn't it? We know that only the red soul has enough determination to save, load and reset on its own. Every soul has every trait, but the colour determines which one it has the most of.
ANYWAY, I'd say either Patience or Kindness personally.

1. Alphys is able to harvest a good amount of determination from at least 2 of the souls.
2. They were all able to save, according to Toriel having deja vu. Or maybe someone else saved for some of them, and some had more determination then others. (Cough cough, Flowey, Undertale Yellow is something I wish was canon, but there would still be souls that innately have enough determination to save, load, etc. before Flowey exists.)
I always got the impression that all souls had trace amounts of determination, and all the other traits, but one key trait. Also, they would have been able to save and load since whoever has the most determination gets those abilities, and Flowey didn't exist (who has more DT than the average soul but less than a Red soul), but Frisk still has more DT then all of them, and traces of all the other traits. It took 6 Non-Red souls to surpass the DT of a red soul with Photoshop Flowey after all.

I do agree that each soul has small amounts of determination, as well as being capable of saving and loading.
Hmmmm... The Photoshop Flowey thing is a good point. I surrender here.
Here's a question: Do you prefer the simpler Undertale battle system (FIGHT, ACT, ITEM, MERCY) or do you prefer the more complicated Deltarune system? (Fight, Act, Item, Mercy, Defend, Magic, TP, multiple party members etc.)
I personally love the deltarune system, if it wasn't such a narratively driven game it could be cool to see a mode where you can swap out party members as you wish to build a perfect party. Maybe that could be an option in the Dojo one day.

i have never played deltarune, but by what i have seen it seems similar to the old final fantasy games, right? if i am right then yeah i prefer that type of complex gameplay. but i like the simplicity and more story based way that reg UT does it, so i am undetermined.

Gonna boink this thread again, I can't let another good thread die! The future of monsters depends on you! Don't lose hope! You cannot give up just yet...Undertale/Deltarune Cult, stay determined!
Okay anyway do you guys think chess theory is real? I'm kinda torn, I haven't looked into it much but it sounds like the most likely theory, especially with the Knight and the vessel/pawn connection. Guess that means we'll get the Rook in chapter 4 (not sure how that will work with my Kitchen Darkworld theory) and the Bishop in Chapter 5 (Church Dark World? Alvin definitely gets a lot of hype so that could happen) since I'm pretty sure Tenna is gonna be the main Chapter 3 antagonist. Don't know why there would be a gap though.

Potentially. Maybe it's not the name of the villain in Chapter 3, but something related to the villain? Like, maybe Tenna's company is named (insert chess piece here) Studios. Idk, though, I'm just spitballing.
Maybe we should do something with the other cults in the Kitchen. Idk if there's something like this, but there seems to be a lot of cults and cult-adjacent threads, and loads of alliances strung between the threads. As the cult of MERCY and sparing others, perhaps we should set up a thread that acts as a common ground for all cults to communicate, recruit and ally? We could call it something goofy as well.

I know from the original cult that there used to be a Grand Alliance. Maybe something like that? Hmmmmmmmmmmm
Also, regarding the chess theory: A random thought I had once is that the queen piece can go anywhere, similar to how the internet is spread across practically the entire world. I don't know how King or future chapters are connected with this, but just thought of it one time.
That's fairly interesting. Kings move one step at a time, yet can go anywhere around them. Not sure if that relates to his character but that's how I see a personified King. For a rook, they move in straight lines (like the box shape of a TV?) Bishops can only stick to one colour, white or black (The duality of the Darkners vs Lightners perhaps?) and the Knight can 'skip' over other pieces, suggesting his presence throughout all the chapters as he has always skipped ahead of the players to set up the next chapter. The pawn is fairly self explanatory.

Hmmmm, yeah. We'll probably see in future chapters. I also saw another theory that their movement means how much they'll be in their chapter. (Queen is all over the place and queens can go anywhere, King is only at the end.)
Missed this, sorry. Cool!
