"I wanted to show you what I found out for your quest. If that's ok."
Angelo sits up. “Definitely. Show me what you got.”
Asada sits down and pulls out a small stack of papers. "Well, we know you are heading to the Bermuda Triangle. So I was trying to figure out how we could narrow down where you would find the kevel. I think I have the answer but...its not great."
“Yea? Where do you think?” Angelo peers over his shoulder to look at the papers, frowning.
"So....have you every heard of Scylla and Charybdis?"
“Nope. Those some kinda singers or something?”
*they'd be great singers*

"Well, in the Odyssey there are two major sea monsters that attack the main characters. Scylla and Charybdis. Scylla is a multi headed monstrosity sometimes depicted with dog heads as part of her form, and Charybdis is a monstrous whirlpool known to hunt alongside Scylla. I think they are the Hungering hounds and the Maelstrom that the kevel is in between..."

After thinking for a bit, Havoc starts climbing up the tree to get a better look.
As he goes to do so, the dangling hand shoots out and grabs him by the wrist in a deathgrip. Soft green mist fills the area around the tree, obscuring everything near him but the vibrant lamp-yellow eyes of the watching owl and the mummified corpse’s face staring into his eyes. Its face begins to morph and change, shifting into something that would appear to be his mother, yet her eyes remain empty sockets. The scenery changes to something more resembling his childhood home, as the mist thickens and solidifies. His mother’s voice is soft, but cold, the words spoken clearly and echoing in his mind.
Far to the north, in a land beyond the sea, You shall join the hunt, in a land still yet to be free. Three sent to the golden glade, to catch and save the creature falsely made. A semblance of the infamous, clever vixen of old, The goddess’s wrath, the torment of a soul too bold. The brave, the wise, and the relentless hunt together to catch the honorable thief, Called to outmatch a soldier’s wit downtrodden by grief, A creature untouchable, its end near, A herald of the god even war must fear, A forbidden key it will bring, And to the house of death it will sing. Only with an open mind and an open heart, you will succeed, Lest the three be slain by the oathbearers and left to bleed. Cursed shall one be, as the light of the moon reaches its peak, The king’s folly, bestowed on the violent and the merciless - the one most weak.
As the words finish, the dizzying scenery fades back to normal, fog retreating. It’s silent, almost deathly silent - the owl is nowhere to be seen, and neither is the body.
