Cody is back in the library, reading some books on the Titanomicy and Kronos.
Maho is watching, tossing a stone in the air and catching it. He seems more intrigued in her path of destruction then her specifically.
He spots Neru returning a book before pulling out another and opening it to a random page as she sits at his table. It is titled 'Prophesies of the Past'.
She looks over to them and smiles softly as she puts down some weights, sighing and putting her hands on her hips.
He looks over to them for a moment, smiling softly as he recognizes them and waves, “Oh, hey Neru, it’s been too long. I learned I have a half brother, how’ve you been?”
He freezes for a moment, causing the rock to fall to the ground. "Hello. I'm guessing the invisibility spell wore off? Not that I'm trying to spy on you! It's a matter of practice."
"Hey Cody. Been doing well (lies). Trying to cut off my caffeine intake. Don't we all have half-siblings?" She flips to another page, seemingly not finding what she is looking for.
She tilts her head and taps her ear with a smile, before making the Deaf sign, “I can’t hear a word you’re saying.” She says, smiling still.
“Yeah, but mine turned out to be a priest, and he’s a good brother too, isn’t that fun?” He says with a laugh, scooting closer over to them, “What are you looking for? Maybe I can help?”
"Oh, uh." He raises his other hand and tries the gesture for 'sorry', doing it almost correctly. He then pretends to write something down and points to her. "Do you have paper?"
"Oh, I think I might have met them. Christian priest, right? But to answer your question, my sister once mentioned before... the war, that she snuck up to talk to the Oracle. She said she was given a prophecy, but never told me what it was. Simply said something like 'events are pages of a book'."
She laughs at them, walking over to them, towering over them, “Did you just ask a deaf person a question using words after they told you they can’t hear you? You’re lucky I can read lips, just talk slower.”
He nods along with their words “That would be my brother, but that’s really interesting, I’ll do what I can to help find out what that means, but that sounds like something that can only be deciphered as it happens.”
“Well… no, I suppose they don’t. But I wasn’t born this morning, that’s not your motivation. I mean, you need not share if you don’t want to, but I’d like to hear it.”
She sighs "I... Come closer. Away from the ocean. Where they won't overhear as much.."
Sighing, she walks away from the beach and closer to her.
"Sorry.. I just.... I met someone before through the whole gifting thing, and.. She would want me to continue it for other demigods, I think. In a way I do it out of the kindness of her heart"

He shakes his head, putting down the dishes “I’ve got to think about it. I’ve got a few things on my mind right now, and I’m not sure, yet.”
He takes a deep breath, smiling “Isn’t this nice? You, me, and the forest air.” He rubs her hand.
He sits against the normal portion of the wall, stretching
"And I must tell you, I find my own faith lacking lately.. it's hard to know what to trust anymore, when fundamentally, my whole life's teachings are incorrect."
She leans into him, nodding and breathing in the fresh air with him. "it is.."
Liam joins them, though sitting closer to the lava.
He shakes his head again, sitting back down on one of the benches, rubbing his hands together as he thinks about it “I can’t… not right now anyway, maybe later, if I have time.”
He wraps an arm around them, his real one, leaning into her as well, “Such… a perfect day.” They get farther from camp, slowly.
"How can you stand the heat?"
