The Truth
As my alarm goes off, my mom calls, “Alex, time for school!”
“Coming!” I yell, as I get ready. I look at my calendar, and see it’s May 19. I then exclaim, “It’s my birthday!”
I swiftly move down the stairs, and see my presents stacked on the countertop. I grab a bag of cupcakes and run out the door.
