She notices that this newcomer, a camper with around 40 beads, has fish scales.

"... Are you Makana...?"

"... I mean..."

 "... That would be me, yes. I assume you have... Come to speak about the sirens? The tragedies of late?" 

"What..? Is it causing a problem?"

"Why did you do it."

"... Well, Drew might not be too happy about it..."

 "... I didn't. Margarite did. I don't know why, but she... She wanted a storm. I tried to hold it back. To protect what I could. I tried to warn her, but she kept going... She wanted it to happen"

"About someone sitting calmly on a roof..? I think Chiron wont care, and that's what matters."

"Hah. Yeah, right. What exactly did Margarite do?!"

"... I guess..."

 "... They murdered a friend of mine. I came to them attempting to talk to them. To convince them to promise safety for my friends, so I could help keep them safe. So we could share in protecting each other. She... Blamed me for it all. Over and over. The yelling... The shouting... Her aggression... And blaming me and the person who died for it all... She was purposely trying to cause emotions. To stir them up. To cause what transpired... She was the only one I killed that day. To protect everyone else as much as I could.. Who are you?"

"Anyways, how are you today?" He closes the book

"Mmm. And why should I tell you my name? Names hold power. But, if you really wanna know, I'm a son of Posiedon."

"... Meh. Nervous. Scared."

 "I told you mine. And I do not plan on using any sort of 'power' against you... A son of Posideon that has been here 40 years? What happened to the deal..?"

".. Itll be okay. I think its almost time..."

"Said deal only aplied to demigod children. Me? I'm a siren."

"Time? For what?"

 "A siren... But still a demigod siren, no..? Its an odd exception, I suppose... But not the first Ive seen with the half gorgon new arrival, I suppose.."

Telepathically (To set and spring the traps on her)

"Well, there was also that Cyclops, and that Perseus kid as well, so Dad didn't really follow that rule quite well."

(O-oh! Yeah... Yeah.)

 "I... Cannot say Ive heard of a recent cyclops or Perseus... If you wish not to share your name, is there something you would like to be called instead?"

 A girl with short black hair and oil stained clothes walk up and tries to hide, though unsuccessfully, as her long neck makes her head stick out very visibly. She seems to be enjoying the music.

 The naiad looks to the girl with a smile, waving for her to sit a bit closer as she continues 

 The girl smiles and walks closer, seeming slightly embarrassed she was caught but very happy otherwise.

"Your music is beautiful."

 "Thank you! Though it is still very much a work in progress... Its only the beginning of trying to write a song for my first time!"

 "Well, that's pretty amazing for your first time! I like music, but well, I'm not exactly any good at playing it. My hands are built to build, not to strum guitar or play piano... But that's okay. What's your name? Mine's Charlie."

 "Im called Makana! Its nice to meet you Charlie! And I... I certainly am no good at guitar or piano, either. I destroy most instruments I try to touch with my water.."

 Charlie laughs.

"Well I guess we're in the same boat! Er- well maybe not the best expression... I don't think you'd ever need a boat..."

Charlie seems kind of embarrassed now.

"But seriously, your music is sooo good! I'm jealous. I mean, I can't even sing! Watch,"

Charlie attempts to "sing", which sounds more like a cat being strangled underwater. She laughs.

"See?"

 Makana chuckles "Im sure youre just unpracticed!! Anyone can sing well given enough time and a little bit of help!"

 "I doubt that! But it's okay. I really enjoy listening to music more. I do my best thinking- and for that matter building, to music. Especially metal and rap. But classical when I'm sleeping...." 

She looks up and starts mumbling, then takes out a small trinket and starts tinkering with it furiously.

 "Building? Based on what youre holding there.. Are you an inventor of some kind?"

 She looks up, startled.

"Ohhhh, yeah. It's in my blood, I suppose. I'm a child of Hephaestus. So, I always like to tinker on random things." She holds up her object.

"Right now I'm working on this thing, which is SUPPOSED to record noises and play them back on demand, but in reverse. Except... It wasn't working... But I think you gave me an idea how to fix it!"

She starts to tinker again.

 "Nice to meet you. I am mostly blind, but through whatever miracle, I can see outlines of objects, and words jump off of the page with a starking light."

 "That's amazing! (Gasp)"

She takes out a device and starts tinkering with it viscously. She seems to have forgotten where she was.
