Havoc is practicing with his great ax in the arena, listening to music while he trains.
Kota approaches Havoc, smiling and waving. “Hi!”
It takes a moment for Havoc to notice him, grabbing one of his ear buds and taking it out of his ear. "Hey." he says with a simple wave. "Training today?"
“No, I just wanted to say hi since you seemed nice yesterday. I don’t know about training… Violence seems scary.”
"Well nice to see you again." I'd say you should at least get some form a weapon training just in case. You could always go for a quarterstaff if you want something that's less about damage and more about keeping enemies at a distance. Or maybe learning to use a shield."
“Can you maybe teach me? I have a dagger, but that doesn’t really sound like it could keep enemies at bay…”
"Sure." he says as he walks over to the weapon racks. He places his great ax up and grabs two quarterstaffs. He walks back over and hands him one of the staffs. "Lets start with the basics. Come over here." he says as he walks to one of the dummies.
Kota follows, testing it out.
"So a quarterstaff is probably your best bet for non-lethal damage, though trust me...it still hurts to be smacked around by one. However, its very good at allowing you to use your momentum and speed to keep others at a distance." Havoc says as he grabs his and makes a few quick strikes at the dummy in quick succession, using his movement to hit different points.
