He looks at her and smiles, landing a few blows on a dummy. He’s above average, but not that good.
"Hm. What's your name, kid?"
She stands up, her crown of flames dispersing, wiping the dust off her clothes.
“I’m Kota. I just got here.” He twirls his quarterstaff around.
"Hm. Figures... You look like you could use some help."
“Yeah… I don’t really like violence, so I was recommended the Quarterstaff by someone, but it isn’t working out that well for me.”
"Hm. Yeah, I can see that..."
“Do you have any tips?”
"Well. First of all, if something doesn't really work for you, don't push yourself to try and do it. A weapon is a sacred thing, something that will save your life. If you don't feel connected with it, don't try it."
