“Hello?” Kota calls, dropping his shield and putting his quarterstaff in his backpack. “I won’t hurt you. I’m actually a pacifist, I use these weapons only when I must.”
... nothing. The wind shifts, and it's like nothing ever happened.
“Strange. I thought I smelled the ocean.” Kota pulls out his shield and quarterstaff and starts assaulting the training dummy, dealing careful blows to nonlethal areas.
... there it is. Again. The smell of salt. The taste of the sea... Ripples in the air.
He sighs. “Is that you again, Makana? I told you you don’t have to hide from me.”
The wind picks up, the ocean breeze winding through the empty arena...
“Makana, please! Are you suddenly scared of me?”
The wind rakes through the arena, the faint hint of salt, and then- Dex saving throw, please!

Silence... until... the ground begins to shake, tremos and cracks rising up.
“Why are you doing this? Why does everyone want me to fight?”
