A guy in a hazmat suit is hiding in the shadows, muttering furiously to himself
She hears this and approaches warily, saying "hello?"
'Ah, hello there. It's me. Who rescued you from the chemical plant'
"Ah, hello!"
'How are you? Recovering well? I'm glad to have bumped into you, I've gotten into a spot of bother'
"I'm alright. Oh, what's going on?"
'The Nightmares are hunting me. I might have to go into hiding. I could do with some allies, so far it's just me and Charlie against the forces of darkness'
"Hunting you? Why? What did you do?"
'They're Nightmares, aren't they? They're not exactly going to be angels. I was beginning to get a little desperate'
"I'd help, but I don't know if I can do much for you. I'm a nightmare myself..."
'That's entirely fair. Could you keep an eye on what the others are doing, report back if they seem to be getting close to catching me? Also, do you have anywhere I could hide?'
"I don't have a place for you, but I can help be your lookout, yes"
'Good, good. I may have to consider hiding out underground, it would be the last place they would look. Good job I have this hazmat suit, so I can keep myself looking civilised'
Hi, I'm Anders. I like wreaking havoc in TTRPGs and listening to Swedish Death Metal. I currently am in the process of starting a campaign, GMed by your's truly. Entombed is a great band, you should check 'em out.
The Slink is skulking around by the riverside, near the entrance to his den. He appears to be talking to a rubber duck
A silhouette appears over the top of the riverbank and squats down. "I totally agree with the duck, man. It has made some really great points." You can't discern the features of the man, but you can spot the glitter of piercings shining from his shadowy face.
Dib doesn't do anything too suspicious, taking out his computer after sitting down and beginning to type, more than anything else his arms and his briefcase give off the most dark energy, he gives off abnormal levels himself.
After a minute, she sits nearby him with a chair of space between them, her arrival somewhat heralded by her quietly coughing into her arm. "You researching what's going on here too? In Balios, I mean." She asks in a somewhat hushed tone to where he'd be the only one to hear her clearly, especially with the sounds from the bar around them.
He looks up from his computer over to them, his eyes glowing a purple hue behind his sunglasses, making a single nod as he closes the computer. He takes off said sunglasses, letting them see his strange eyes fully "And I wouldn't be wrong to guess you are doing the same?" He asks, scooting a little closer so they don't have to worry about not hearing each other.
"No, you'd be pretty spot-on in that assumption." She responds, putting away her notepad and pencil after quickly jotting something down. "This place reeks of Dark Energy, and there's Nightmares all over the place. Ideally, it won't stay that way for long, though."
