Many insects can go into a pseudo-hibernation state for days on end if factors become too intense. Many gods, including the fallen, do as well when their following nearly disappear. What happens when a creature of both definitions encounters such events? A true slumber begins. Mushisama has awoken from this near eternal sleep. Perhaps because he sensed a friend. Perhaps because the sudden rise in powers. Perhaps because of his garden, which now is the size, and complexity, of a forest. What started as the physical remains of a poor cursed flora now has grown to host many creatures, living, dead, and undead alike. The tallest bear fruit of no name. The shortest bear thorns of endless pain. None lacks in the fallen magic of a god. Mushisama observes his territory, his new ‘people’, and his false ‘army’. If he could, and if he dared, he would have shed a tear.
Almost like home.

Umbraveth rises out of the ground near Mushisama.
"The time is near... For Malrick to return."
The fallen god looks to them with his expressionless non-face. “Their mortal soul survived? Where had it been? And why do I now sense new caverns beneath the ground this form stands?”
"Their is now several layers in this place. Malrick was no mortal being, he will return, and soon. Prepare all that you need."
Mushisama ponders for a second. He walks with his hundred legs to one of the trees of his own magic, plucking the fruit from their stems. “I have been slumbering for what I must assume was months. Please inform me of all the events in that time, my shadow formed ally.”
" I have continued gathering allies to our cause in Malrick's absence, but not as well as he. As you know, Malrick sacrificed himself for us, and now it is time for his arrival. Correlion killed A friend of Malrick's and destroyed the vessel for his soul. I have my own layer, and so does Correlion. Correlion keeps telling people he's done with violence, then murdering them. His allies are strong... Very strong."
