He sees a small human, fifteen or so, sitting on the edge of a cliff, his legs dangling off of it. The human wears purple robes, has blonde hair slicked to the side, and his eyes are bright blue. He may have heard rumors of Max, the wizard human who stumbled into the depths of The Endless Dark, but the human himself is not very impressive, with only a ball of light sitting in his hand to prove his claim that he is a wizard.
