Using this specifically to resolve, ahem, the Science situation, I think the way to prove the real one (although its very likely to be 2 i feel like) is just for the real Science to say something only he would know. For example, the real Science said for TSF that he was gonna use a slightly altered version of a specific artifact and he changed his mind, unless he did end up using it and changed later I forgot. But if that's the case, then he also sent me a version of Farge's layer I've yet to approve so he could also send that. For both instances the only people that know about it are the REAL Science, and then me and the other people in the TSF mod PM.
Does feel kinda obvious that it's 2 but if anyone has doubts we can confirm
Doesn't help for who's behind all this though. Heck for all we know it's not one of us and is a completely different person who was previously a lurker.

Yeah, agreed — that’s a solid way to confirm. If “Science” can produce something that only the actual one would have, like the TSF artifact details or the unapproved Farge layer, that’s as airtight as we’re gonna get without them standing in front of us IRL.
And yeah, even if we lock down which account’s legit, that still leaves the “who’s actually doing this” question wide open. Could be someone in the circle, could be an old lurker, could even be someone pulling double-duty to stir chaos. We’ll need a different approach to figure that part out.
All of the accounts have been banned, so I doubt the actual science is going to come back. I’m also going to try and talk to the person who made the other accounts behind closed doors.
