would it be magic jumping through the plains of existance?
Yep
They sorta have magic in their blood. Some do require artifacts which count as magical themselves to jump planes, but some, like fae, which are probably the most powerful non godly creatures, can just jump using their abundant supply of magic.
So with vampires, can they drink each other's blood? Especially if they are too weak to jump, they would just die. So they either have to have a way to get the blood of other creatures, or have a magic artifact for the country. And another thing, maybe they could create holes in the planes (so mortals can go into their realms) when powerful immortal entities attempt to go through the realms and forget to close up the hole. [because no consequence for going through realms feels unrealistic -_-]
I dunno, but this sounds like an interesting project. Sorry if that wasn't helpful, I'm unhelpful a lot.
I feel like I need to note something about this part of your response:
I am the one who is often unhelpful. You have been exceedingly helpful, both to me and to others.
Thank you, Golden. And come on. You're a really great person.
(and you saying that is being helpful!)
Erm... no, it isn't. I was arguing with you.
So kind of the opposite of helpful.
You were helpful from what I saw, Weslockes was being humble (and just a wee bit self-deprecatory), and you complemented them. So like yeah, even if you tried arguing, it was still helpful :P
Self-deprecatoriness is my forte.
Sadly, yes. Now accept that you are good at world-building.
o7. Accepted, mister.
Hey, Naner, if you're still looking for people I'll gladly collab with y'all. Been looking for a project.
WAIT I DIDN'T SEE THIS OKAY
XD. All good, and thanks!
Uhhhhhh you got any ideas? I could throw out a couple. Should we make a PM or just do this here? And if anyone else wants to help please say so. Prolly won't require much commitment.

Yeah, I agree with PMs. I feel like it'd get confusing here.

I never really explored vampire blood, but I always sorta thought it was toxic to other vampires or they didn't have any. I haven't written many vampire scenes so they could still not have blood, but it being toxic feels more realistic. I think it could work though.
Yeah holes definitely works. Problem is, the realms are swarming with Mythicals, and Mythicals are very dangerous to humans as many require human blood to live or just hate humans, so I don't think many would bother unless they had a large army.
For the Abyss, holes are created naturally, portals appear often, at least until it was sealed. So Paustra's enemy couldn't escape because the holes were too small, but its servants could. The Abyss has the largest chance of people going there against their will.
I didn't really think through consequences but in a story I wrote a while ago while the main character was traveling through realms, a few months had passed, so time probably doesn't work like normal in realms.

If I’m being annoying, tell me to shut up. Seriously. Just say “Bananer shut up.” And I will. For a few seconds!
Don’t listen to the folks down at Adohands. It’s good for me to overwork myself.
Professional idiot! Trans! Pansexual pancake! I am a minor so you will do none of that (GP) with me! I use He/They pronouns :3
Uskon is a theocratic country that (unofficially) stretches over a majority of the western coast of the continent. It’s home to the current strongest naval army and a majority of pirates, who act more like mercenaries rather than simple thieves. Their trade ports are extremely important to their land-locked neighbors, and their alcohol is legendary, albeit technically illegal.
The Sun Hunter is their primary deity (the others are viewed as his animal companions), and is actually the reason Usken (those who settle in Uskon) settled so close to the ocean, to be closer to him. Really, all they truly knew about it at the time was it was some kind of thing on the horizon that would appear and disappear every day. However, due to the fact it seemed to be chasing the sun, legends spread that it was actually a god who perpetually chases its prey, giving us day and night. And so, every day when it appears, Usken gather by the shores in prayer.
In reality, the Sun Hunter is a machine that came from a sister planet with immense technological prowess. Due to events I could share, but am choosing not to to save time on writing this, that planet blew up, creating an asteroid belt close enough that there are often meteorite showers throughout the year, often filled with somewhat damaged yet operational technology. The first batch killed the dinosaurs, and the second batch brought the Sun Hunter. This machine was originally built to deal with the hazardous and gaseous byproducts of machinery at the time, but now converts the byproducts kicked up by meteorite impacts, converting them into natural gases which are then converted into breathable air by the Elder Shrub (thank you Mushisama).
However, due to the tidally locked nature of the other planet, most of the technology from that world is solar powered, and the Sun Hunter is not an exception. So when it met its first night cycle, the internal computer calculated a course that would keep it powered 24/7. This is why it follows the Sun.
The meme is describing an event that could happen, but has not yet in the story. Any questions?
