Just remember that each roll is separate, they still count as their own days

 Nice! :D iron will be helpful in making stronger tools and better equipment!

The desert is also the only location you can find iron :3

 You get 1 iron in your inventory

I'm not gonna give you a specific amount just that there's 1 iron -_-
