Standing behind him is a smallish girl with pigtails and a medical mask. She reaches out and takes half of the papers from him, smiling with her eyes.

Nothing happens, and the pencil falls to the floor. He looks confused for a second, then blinks, shakes his head, and returns to studying.
Yuri happens to also be in the library, and seems to look at them for a second, as if to acknowledge them.
The kid nods in acknowledgement, then returns to his homework, which looks more like a video game console upon closer inspection.
Yuri gives a quizzical look regarding the device in his hands.
The kid no longer seems to be paying attention.
