Clawpaw and Chervilpaw are talking outside of the medicine den. Clawpaw is a large black tom, with blue eyes and a scar on his nose, and Chervilpaw is the medicine cat apprentice, a small gray she-cat with greenish eyes. Clawpaw hurries off to grab something for Chervilpaw, leaving her alone.
