Oh, neat. I have 3, and they’re mostly related, though I don’t have names for them. The first is a blind samurai stag, the second is a silk moth grub who is the 嗣子, or heir, to the the Shogun, and the third is a Silk Moth Ninja (who I imagine takes the boss fight role in the group).
okay that seems really cool. though I guess it is not full a cryomancer as they would be found in several parts of pharloom searching items like muckmaggots or the magnetic stones to try and alter the effect of spells.

Maybe each time you meet them, there near like a tool that changes how spells work, like poisoning those hit are creating a field that slows enemies. The freeze tool is the last one, though you have to fight your OC because their upset you keep grabbing the tools before they could.

One of their attacks could be like the Rhinogrund where the dig the shovel/rake into the ground and hurl a bunch of frozen dirt clumps. And maybe the Last Sinner’s spell, where a bunch of circles appear and form spiny ice balls.

oh I like those ideas. the ones i currently had in mind for attacks is a rush to the other side of the screen with a growing ball of frozen ground. one where the character waves it upwards creating icecles that will appear on the top of the screen taking up about half of it then dropping at a decent pace.
I was also thinking that you could find the character in the following locations in order: mount fay(quest start), moss grotto (searching for berries), Deep docks[or wisp thicket.] (looking to see if they can combine fire and ice.), bilewater (to put muck maggots in the ice.), sand of karak(for a shocking development), Cogwork core[or Whiteward] (attempting to make the snow alive), near the abyss (hearing void can be powerful.), mount fay (final showdown). as each time you find them they would get slightly more HP and a new move or two.
