A young woman has wandered past. She has bright purple eyes, pale skin, and the oddest hair you've ever seen. She has it red on one side, black on the other, and a long gray braid down her back. She's wearing a blue T-shirt with a faded logo on it, black jeans that are ripped naturally, not purposefully, and beat-up sneakers. She's got a satchel slung over one shoulder, and a phone in her pocket. She looks to be about 14 or so.
A kid on the younger side is sitting in a beanbag in the hallway. He has curly black hair, honey brown skin, and wears a T-shirt that’s a few sizes too big for him and shorts that you can barely see under the huge t-shirt. The T-shirt has the words “bangbang” on it, surrounded by one of those cartoony explosion things. It’s blue. The boy yawns. His eyes are drooping-he can’t be any older than twelve, and he looks exhausted.
The kid with the hoodie absentmindedly shuffles over, then glances up. "Hey, uh, dude..." he says, in a voice marked by years of sloth: "I'm new here...what's going on? Like, uh, no one will tell me anything about like...that sort of stuff, you know?" His face is strange, and it throws the kid off for a second --- something's off, although he can't tell what. Then, he notices, almost as if the other kid wanted him to. Although this hoodie-kid seems normal, bangs cascading over the sides of his head, jawline close to knifepoint-sharp but cracked by some long-ago injury...but the kid's eyes are bright green. And not forest green, either. Grass-under-the-sun-in-midsummer green, and they glow.
“H-huh?” The kid steps backwards. “Well hey, that’s cool! Guess they haven’t given you the orientation. Mind control or something? That’s awesome. I’m Argus! Wanna know what my power is?”

*also btw i think this is really cool! It's like, a new generation for the dao (like monster high or mlp or strawberry shortcake or etc)! The original was all 80's/90's and this is 2000s/2010s, so i'm really excited to see what pops up! Obviously i will be reviving some old dao characters*
*Oh awesome, ty! Do you think they’d be older? I might bring in Devin and Rex as adults :3*
*i assumed this was a different continuity, since, you know, different organizations. But you can do what you want to do. also i can mod *

Heyo! You can call me Link. Here’s a bit about me:
Roomba Knight, Architect of the Cataclysm, Foxy Lunar Archpriest. Dubbed The Fluffy Bowman by Golden. He/Him
Theatre Kid, Ravenclaw, bookworm, DM, Lego fanatic, mythology nerd, pedantic about spelling. I also love foxes, cats, otters, and red pandas!
I love K-pop Demon Hunters and Korean Mythology. If you want to ask me about something, send me a PM!

Xavier is strolling through the halls, whistling tunelessly.
Arabella is in the gym, as she often is.
Heya everyone! I'm EJO, DDB's resident immortal Welsh medieval rat who appears randomly roughly once every week.
I'm not active much, but always up to talk when I am.
I'm known as CptKurn nearly everywhere but here.
Do not ask me about anything I like because I WILL waffle on for half an hour.
