the kid (who had you know been previously bleeding out) after only a few hours seemed almost completly fine, though his clothes were still torn to nearly rags. he wandered around camp, currently in the center of the cabins

“You don’t die! Just get burned a little. It’s fine!”

“Uhhhhhh… okay…” She carefully approaches the lava wall.

“You got this!” Felix is cheering her on from the top of the wall.

Violet slowly starts to climb, carefully avoiding the lava. She doesn’t seem to be moving quickly, just carefully. It seems to be working?

Felix is encouraging her the whole way.

She eventually makes it to the top, gasping and out of breath. “H-how do we get down?”

“Like this!” Felix hops off the top and lands on a crash mat on the other side. He springs up perfectly ok. “It’s fun!”

“I… no. No thank you. I’ll just stay up here forever.”

“Really? It’s not that far. And it’s soft!”

“Don’t really like jumping…”

“It’s actually not that far. It’s over fast.”

“Is there any other way?”

“I mean, you could climb back down. Or rappel! Or call a Pegasus.”

“How do I call a Pegasus?”

“Whistle loudly and they’ll come.”

She whistles quickly, and after a few seconds, frowns. “Is it supposed to take this long?”

Suddenly, you hear a neigh and wingbeats as a Pegasus descends from the sky and lands atop the rock wall.

“Thank god.” She says, sighing in relief, quickly mounting it and flying back down.

You touch down safely. Felix grins. “How was it?”
