Depends on the type of elves you're running.
High elves (or so I believe) are characterized by more dramatic names, featuring more diacritics and whatnot (Lothlórien, for example). Wood elves might have more mystical stuff and portmanteaus like Naner's above. Drow might have rougher-sounding names (more like dwarven cities), or they might not have names at all (their society might not see much use in naming things, so there's a colloquial name.

Still working on my world but I’ve got two places - the slumbering lands that lie to the south west, ruled over by hypnos. Hypnos is truly a curse to the land, discouraging people from working and only trading with outsiders for their food as most plants cannot grow in the velvet grasses that encompass the land. Has a mix of medieval Japanese/greek structures. Hypnos is the monarch of the land.
to the north east lies the boreal peaks, where scattered tribes reside. The biggest settlement is ruled over by the snow witch/the snowy crone/the cursed. Outsiders view her as an evil corrupt witch whereas she actually keeps a thriving kingdom with a governmental system. This is where a lot of species who live in cold climates reside, and a lot of warlocks/witches pledge allegiance to this place. Inspired by Scandinavian areas and England.
snow witch - inspired by Pale Night. She wears a bridal gown and veil which masks her semicorporeal body.
Hypnos - inspired by saint trina from Elden ring + samurai.
