Investigation 12

 The story is about two young girls who find a secret cave together. At the end of the story, they both fall for the same boy, and one kills the other. The boy ends up living a life with the killer, and eventually passes of old age. It’s rather dark for a children’s book-there are even some strange illustrations, like one of the girl who was killed’s dead body.

 "If you know where it is, then it's easy!" Chloe walks up to one of the shelves and picks out a book that she was looking for without even checking the call number.
