Darkest Dungeon

*Hey there I'm Balthoran formerly known as Drizztlonedruid I hope this thread succeeds to become the main thread as much I want it to*

(I know there is a game called darkest dungeon I don't care.)

Drip Drip Drip

As you awaken you hear the sound of dripping from a rusty pipe unsure of how you got here or where here even is.

as you look around the cell you noticed the cell door creaked open as you exit the cell you walk for a bit before noticing a carved message on one of the walls-

"Safe haven up ahead may luck ever be in your favor-X"

As you arrive at the entrance of the city you are greeted by a teenage girl she begins to talk to you "Hello adventurers I'm Mara and welcome to the city of abraxas one of the biggest hubs in the dungeon. the city is divided into 4 districts Residential,commercial,industrial and administrative I suggest you visit the administrative district to be registered as soon as possible."

When you headed to the southeast of town you went through an old tunnel and on the other side of that tunnel was a massive marble coliseum. As you entered it you were greeted by a middle aged rugged man with an eye patch

"Hello customer I run this coliseum the name is Jackson if you want to sign up to be a gladiator or take bets let me know"

 Alright now that the intro is done let me explain how this thread is supposed to work you guys are adventurers in the dungeon I'll act as a sort of DM as you guys progress I'll add onto the lore for the first page so new characters and people can join in with ease. this is supposed to develop as people advance.oh and you don't necessarily have to be a good guy you can create whatever you want to be.(Unless you are trying to become a god no dice then)

Whenever someone enters a new room/area I'll roll a d20 to determine the outcome there are 4 outcomes (Event,Puzzle,trap and encounter,)

Rules:

No NSFW,Bigotry, Racism,Sexism excetra

Listen to the DM's(Me and Bananer currently)

No Homebrew unless I approve it(3rd party counts as homebrew)

You need permission to kill other people's characters however you can setup traps or summon monsters to kill them in an indirect way if that's your thing

Be polite OOC if possible 

You can't have 2 or more characters from the same person in a party(to encourage interaction)

Whenever you start exploring/entering a dungeon room

Roll initiative even if it isn't combat then you can take turns to do whatever you want to in the room (events are the exception to this rule unless I say otherwise)

Addendum to the role initiative rule-you cannot use abilities that rely on rolling initiative unless you are in combat.

When you join a guild you lose 5 percent of your gold and experience but in exchange you get easier access to quests, parties, shops and more so is it worth it?Absolutely.

 I think it fits here, forum games is for finicky stuff like dice rollers, quote chain games, ect.

*Okay I’m done! One small problem, my character is a bard who is primarily a support and healer, so I miiiiiiight need someone else to make a character that he can buff.*

 Perhaps a less intelligent/charismatic character? Maybe our characters could team up? Mine could literally never survive on their own because he’s basically a living breathing teddy bear in personality

A young man in his twenties with a boyish face and fluffy brown hair sits in his cell, strumming on his lute, playing a melancholy tune. It seems he hasn’t noticed the door is open yet-or isn’t leaving for some reason. His armor is hardened leather, well buckled and tight with the emblem of a wyvern on it, and a cloak rests next to him, serving as a sheathe for his rapier.
