Yo! I made this thread because I wanted to do a bit of RP in the updated version of my world, and I also needed a place to keep all my world info where someone would actually read it. But idk. Maybe nobody will :p . Gonna categorize stuff into sections, based on what people from where would know about the world. Most of this is trash, and you don’t have to pay attention to it, but I would prefer if you knew something about the area we’re roleplaying in.
THE MATERIAL PLANE
The Material Plane has a few countries, and is heavily based on our own world, with continents placed similarly to our own. The Material Plane is constantly evolving, and for a time, it was plagued by mythical creatures, called Mythicals. After the humans started getting better tech, the world started to develop. Most countries are associated with a certain mythical creature, like Tyvern with vampires and Adavan with shadow monsters and thunderbirds. Adavan isn’t exactly a country, more like a continent, heavily based on the Americas and Native American mythology. There are also places based on Europe, like Tyvern with its vampires, Laíoch with its fae, Nevelan with its witches and dragons, and Luvesca with its werewolves. The places based on Africa, Asia, and Australia are still a work in progress, but I’m hoping I can flesh them out through roleplay.
THE ABYSS
The Abyss is one of the secrets of the world. Hidden deep beneath Tarran in the center of the world, surrounded by lava, the Abyss is a highly mechanized place, with robots and mech. Residents of the Abyss tend to have animalistic or demonic traits, like unnaturally colored skin, animal ears, horns, or tails. The Abyss is the prison of a sleeping Titan, the Tentacled Mass, which resides at the very center of the Abyss and despite being asleep, commands the leaders of the Abyss, the Abyss Lords, in its sleep. There are nine Abyss Lords, each one ruling over a city. The places that are not ruled by Abyss Lords are infested lands, filled with untamed shadowy monsters different from the still thinking Abyss citizens and mythical creatures. The Abyss has a few surface occupied areas, people from the Material Plane who went down below to spy on the Abyss, as the Tentacled Mass is one of the main enemies of the known world.
THE HIGHER PLANE
The Higher Plane is where the gods and angels reside. Led by the high god, Paustra, the mortal enemy of the Tentacled Mass, the Higher Plane is a place of merriment but also strict rules and protection. The Higher Plane has long forsaken the world, continuing to other worlds, but a few angels come down occasionally, mostly fallen.
THE MYTHICAL PLANES
There are a few Mythical Planes, and they are the home of the mythical creatures of the world. Although the Abyss is technically a mythical plane, most people do not count it, and the main two are Instholdé and Miotaseo, the vampire and fae lands. The vampire lands are ruled by the Vampire King, and there have been two in history, as vampires live long and vampire leaders even longer. The Fae are mostly lone species’, and they have only united in the past when being hunted. Their main diplomat is Altada Wyss, who is also seen as a general and a hero, the one who urged the fae to fight back instead of letting themselves be hunted by the humans. There aren’t many other planes, as the dragons, witches, thunderbirds, shadow beasts, and werewolves don’t have any.
Please keep things PG-13! Gore descriptions are okay, please spoil them though. Keep OOC in asterisks like *this*.
Feel free to ask questions and make suggestions for my world here, I’m always looking to expand it/improve it. I haven’t added everything to the OP, like the High Eye and more info about the Abyss Lords, but they’ll be added eventually! I would also like to make a timeline, so that may be coming. This is different from other taverns in the sense that it’s more a living world that progresses through the eras than a tavern.

Opp "Oppy" is a weird, non-homeless person that currently resides in the Abyss. They have charcoal-coloured skin with cream-coloured lines where the veins would be, and green eyes. They also have a soft, fleshy tail.
They are currently chilling on the roof of someone's house, eavesdropping by means of the chimney.
