"....nope!" They grin, take a sip, and thunder rolls

 “I was. Suppose this world just decided to elevate us to higher authority.” 

“Wonderful for you. I hope your good luck continues.” They say dryly. 

“Alright, alright!” She rushes over. “Any way I can help?”

 "I//we was//were created a god. But here, I//we truly have the power of one"

"How about a drink? It'll take your mind off that, and we have much to celebrate"

"I don't know! I just got this stupid thing!" She takes a deep breath, trying to focus herself. The wind blows harder

 “So you didn’t before? What happened?” 

“That sounds good. Thank you, Sarlok.” 

“Alright, alright. Maybe try calming down? Or as a last resort, running?”

 "I//we was//were created with the authority of a god, but the power of... There is no analogy. I//we was//were in charge of every aspect of my//our world. But now, I//we have the power to create."

"My pleasure" they summon another wineglass, and pour venom from their tail's fangs, creating a tawny yellow wine, before proferring the glass

"I tried calming down!"

“Interesting. Beats living on the streets.” 

Bríz takes some and downs a swig, sighing. (Should Bríz get drunk heh, they’ve already basically revealed their backstory) 

“Alright, so… run?”

 "It was an interesting existence. Rest assured, if you came from my//our world, you would not live on the streets"

"That's the spirit" they take a drink as well. (If you want)

"Let me try something" she concentrates, taking a deep breath. You can hear the quaver of rage in the inhale. There's something in her eyes, the same color as the spear. She points at a hill with the spear, and the wind changes direction, tearing the hill apart, piece by piece and chunk by chunk, until the ground is flat, and the wind, apparently sated, dissapates

*Would we retconn the whole storm, or would I just get a refund?*

 “Your world is still around, then?” He asks, sounding surprised. 

“I wonder why anyone decided to make me a god. Any world.” 

“Well this is new.”

"Perhaps they knew the world would need divinities like us. We do make things interesting"

Her eyes are wide. "...yeah"

“Certainly.” Bríz agrees. “Sarlok, what would you say drives you?”

”Uh. Well. Still sure you’re not a god? We can try stabbing you in like… the foot or something.” She pauses. “That was a joke.”

"An interesting question. I would say passion. It brings me joy to make things interesting. I work with you because we are of like minds, and without direction, I would simply cause problems for everyone. You direct my talents, and I work with you"

A man with messy brown hair and olive skin approaches Bríz. He glances around, as though expecting someone to jump out at any second, then speaks in a soft voice. “Hello. Um… Do you know where we are?”

Arachnis at first glance looks like a human, the only irregularity being 4 large chitinous spider legs on his back(way bigger than a persons arms). Closer inspection reveals his sclera are black, and his irises a rich gold . On his arms and legs are silk threads woven into his skin in a cobweb-like pattern.

 Bríz frowns. "I was hoping you would know the answer to that question. In my old lands, I felt power with restriction. Now I feel endless streams of power, bringing the emotions of all into my body. My theory is that we are figures of power in this world. I am glad to see that I am not the only one. Life would be without meaning if I were the only immortal." They smile at Arachnis, but their eyes are sad. "My name is Bríz. It's nice to meet you." 

 *One of Arachnis’s spider legs moves toward Bríz, as if to greet her* “What will mother say when she finds out I’m gone?” *he whispers, mostly to himself. “My name is Arachnis. My mother named me after her favourite servant. Nice to meet you as well.”

 *Bríz uses they/them pronouns btw, occasionally it/its pronouns are okay but nothing gendered :) ty* 

"That seems a cruel thing to do." Bríz says, sighing. "Naming one after another you knew. Were her expectations harsh? Or was it a name of honor."

Arachnis takes a deep breath before speaking “Well… She wanted me to be like a servant really. Lolth- I mean mother-“ *he pauses and looks down in shame, before continuing, more quietly* “She wanted me to do whatever she asked. It was a lot of killing, really. Chaotic. I hated it.” 

 "Well, it seems it is a good thing you are here." They pause. "Perhaps some freedom is owed to you." 

 “Thank you.. For talking to me as well. Where I’m from, people would ignore me… They thought I was a monster, a bad omen.” *his voice trembles a bit on the last sentence, and he points to the spider legs on his back*

She is both beautiful and horrifying. Appearing as a woman with silvery hair that runs past her shoulders, and covers her eyes. Upon her head lies the head of a jellyfish, whose tentacles intertwine with her hair. She notices Ignis and speaks, in an ethereal voice.

”Greetings. I am the being known as Umbra. Who are you, and have you any idea where we are?”
