 Kather and a follower stand facing each other in the garden of unreality. Her other followers have evacuated the area

"I'm sorry I have to do this"

"It's for the greater good, right? No more death?"

She smiles. It doesn't reach her eyes. "Maybe you'll even come back. You know why I picked you, right?"

"Yeah. No family, no kids, no one'll miss me"

She nods, and pulls him into a hug. "No one but me" the tip of the spear energies out of his back, blood pooling on her poncho, as he goes limp. She gently lays him down, and pulls the spear out.

"I know you're there reaper. Do your job"

 “Quite the assumption you made. Did you know that I do indeed wander? I do indeed talk? You don’t need to kill to call on me. But this whole endeavor is quite amusing.” His misty lips quirk into a smile. “Perhaps I should only come when a death happens. Anyways. What do you want? A god has… jobs, y’know. But hey, jobs are tedious. I’d much rather talk to my favorite mortal.”

 *actually I just had a character idea that’d be perfect for a rp with tempus, basically a god who dies and is reborn in a new body, memories coming back over time. Time and rebirth seems like a fun combination, maybe they can even be related somehow? Just need to intro them first.*

 *yeaaaa, maybe they’re blessed by tempus or smth because they were his favorite mortal. Perhaps we can rp their first interaction? I’m just gonna start them as a god mechanically and just say they were blessed.*

She wipes her follower's blood of the spear. "He was a good person you know. When I told him what I needed, he understood. He didn't whine or cry, he stepped up, and sacrificed himself for the greater good"

She dons ignis' shield, a masterful buckler, with smoldering cracks, like scales or jaws

"This is just a roundabout way of saying what I need to. I'm going to kill you."

And with that, she rushes forward with the buckler, the spear ready to catch a dodge

 *I was thinking more along, said God did something really bad, or messed something up, tempus was not happy, and basically reset their memory so they could fix what happened, and so the God wouldn't do it again hopefully*
